"As You Wish" is the second segment of the forty-third episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 25, 2019 and is the second segment of the eighteenth episode of the second season.
Synopsis[]
Chef Remy Bones bakes Crystal Ball cupcakes that, with every bite, grants wishes for the day, but Vee's identity is threatened when Edgar gets his hands on one.
Plot[]
Wolfie likes his new dog house, and Edgar is recording his spookiest edition of Weekly Weirdness. He needs something new, but there is nothing weird going on today. Vampirina claims that nothing is weird, but Edgar sees that Wolfie is on to something. Vampirina then leaves him outside for a snack before she, Poppy, Bridget, and Demi head inside, where Chef Remy Bones works on cupcakes, which are for his cookbook. He mentions that they are the most magical treat in Transylvania: crystal ball cupcakes. When one eats it, for the rest of the day, any wish made will be granted. However, they must be careful what they wish for, as the wish will last until the sun sets and they must wait to eat them until their parents return.
Demi is about to taste the cupcake when Bones reminds him that it is not allowed. Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget are excited about the cupcakes and making their wishes coming true. They mention the different wishes that can be made upon the cupcakes. Edgar is searching for something spooky, and finds the cupcakes. He eats one, and wishes they could grow on trees, which is what happens. Vampirina takes him to the living room, and Poppy sees what happened. Bridget wonders if he makes a wish on Weekly Weirdness. Poppy states that if everything Edgar asks for comes true, he will always continue to wish. Demi mentions more wishes, and Bones states that anything that Edgar asks for will come true. So, Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget work as a team.
They then help Edgar on his video. He wishes his equipment would carry itself, and they help with it. Edgar goes through different options, and decides to open the episode with a roar. Just then, Penelope roars, which Edgar hears. He then decides to search for Bigfoot, with help from Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget. He wants monsters to help, and that causes sounds upstairs.
Monsters then arrive to help film Weekly Weirdness and get everyone ready. Vampirina brings the monsters upstairs in her room, where the recording will take place. Edgar then returns, having seen nothing weird. With the day almost over, Edgar wishes for light, and Vampirina mentions that they have motion sensors. Edgar wishes music and special effects, which is what happens. The battery then runs out, just as Edgar was on to something. He wishes his camera wasn't dead, and it turns back on. Vampirina and Poppy mention that there is no spell where everything comes true for the entire day.
Edgar then decides to find out, and wishes for chocolate milk, which is what appears. Bridget wonders what needs to be done, and Bones assumes that he'll never make crystal ball cupcakes again. Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget then go to distract Edgar a little longer. They see him wishing for the most awesome thing he can think of; spending the day with a monster, which is Vampirina. She decides for him to spend the day with friends, to which he accepts. He records himself stating that searching for monsters with friends was better than spooky sightings. Bones' popcorn is ready, and he thanks Vampirina mefore mentioning that the wishing magic is about to wear off. Demi is about to eat the cupcakes on the tree when they disappear.
