Hauntleyween

"Hauntleyween" is the first segment of the twenty-fourth episode of Vampirina. It premiered on October 1, 2018 alongside "Frankenflower".

Plot[]

Vampirina wakes up Oxana and Boris and tells them that today is Halloween. Poppy and Bridget are coming and the Hauntleys are to decorate for tonight's party. Oxana and Boris would never forget what the latter calls "Hauntleyween", so they stayed up all night to decorate. Vampirina heads outside to see the Scare B&B decorated perfectly for the holiday. This is why Oxana, Boris, and Chef Remy Bones are tired. Vampirina then sings about how great the Hauntleyween Halloween party will be and its traditions. In addition to Poppy and Bridget, all of the Hauntleys' Transylvanian friends will attend the party. Boris assures Vampirina that the humans will all be trick-or-treating during that time. Vampirina mentions that if the humans see any monsters, the whole city will be terrified and Halloween ruined. She has an idea to fix this with some help.

After Vampirina blocks out one of the windows with cobwebs, Poppy and Bridget arrive for the party. Vampirina assures them there's nothing to worry about and mentions what Halloween is all about. Poppy states that the Scare B&B is more spookier than her mom's. Just then, the monster guests arrive for the party, including the Scream Girls. As Demi starts the music, Bridget questions if there aren't any real monsters trick-or-treating. Vampirina assures it before Edgar, Miss Meyer, and Edna arrive to see the decorations. Meyer was about to rank Edna's house the spookiest of the year until she saw the Scare B&B. She then decides to tour the Scare B&B after Vampirina mentions it.

Vampirina then tells Oxana and Boris about humans coming, and knew having a monster party in Pennsylvania was a bad idea. The Hauntleys try to fix everything when they see Edna enjoying the party. Edgar and Phoebe then show off their dance moves. The Hauntleys are liking what they're seeing and let the monster decorations go. Boris assures Vampirina that everything will be fine. Poppy likes the holiday so far, and just as she, Vampirina, and Poppy dance, Vampirina sees werewolf Wolfie join the party, as well. It is them time for gargoyle karaoke. Dr. Paquette arrives for the party with little Brocknar, who loves Halloween. Vampirina mentions humans thinking Brocknar is a costume. Vampirina decides to hide the dragon, as everyone will be scared when they see him.

Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget then bring Brocknar to Vampirina's room as a hiding spot, but he sniffs dust, causing him to sneeze. So, they relocate him outside the house. It is then time for the Scream Girls to perform in the backyard, and Poppy tells Vampirina that Halloween is all about celebrating monsters and being herself. So, Brocknar can be himself. Dr. Paquette mentions that he loves giving rides; it's his favorite thing, besides smoke ring origami.

The guests then arrive and are surprised to see the dragon. As Edgar goes to ride the dragon, Meyer concludes that the Scare B&B is the spookiest house of the year. Edgar and Edna then ride Brocknar, and Boris states that this was a sensational night, one that could never have been done without Vampirina and her friends. Demi, Bones, and Gregoria also helped, as well. Vampirina was getting a little batty over having monsters and humans at the Scare B&B, but it turned out to be the best Hauntleyween yet. Everyone can really be themselves. The Scream Girls and the Ghoul Girls then perform "Find Your Inner Ghoul" to the crowd.
