Spitter is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Sphoeroid from the planet Scalpasc.^{[pop-up 1][1]}

Appearance[]

Ben 10,000 as Spitter[]

Spitter is a bulbous alien resembling a pufferfish with legs that is colored green on its outer side and pale green on its inner side. He has three spikes sticking out the top and bottom of his head, arms with four-fingered hands, short and stubby legs, and a long tail. His mouth covers mostly the front of him, which is filled with pointed teeth, and his eyes are connected to the corners of his lips. He wears a pair of black pants that partly cover his stomach.

In the Original Series, Spitter had yellowish-green eyes, dull-colored teeth, and his gums were the same hue of green as the outer side of his skin. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his stomach.

Ben as Spitter[]

In the Ultimate Alien intro, Spitter looks exactly the same as before, except his eyes are recolored light green, his teeth are recolored white, and his gums are recolored dark green. He also has lighter skin. Spitter wears the Ultimatrix symbol on his stomach.

Ken as Spitter[]

Ken's Spitter looked the same as Ben 10,000's Spitter in the Original Series.

Powers and Abilities[]

By inflating his upper body, Spitter can unleash a concentrated blast of slime that can effectively launch away large and bulky opponents, such as, Doctor Animo; Vilgax;^[1] Mot Snikrep; and Kevin 11,000.^[2] Additionally, his slime is slippery and highly conductive, allowing electricity-producing allies, such as Nosedeenians, to amplify the power of their attacks on opponents covered with it, as shown by Kevin 11,000.^[2]

Original Series Future[]

• Spitter first appeared in Ben 10,000, where he battled Dr. Animo. Later, he fought Vilgax before switching into Arctiguana.
• In Ken 10, Ben 10,000 as Spitter battled Mot Snikrep before switching into Diamondhead. Later, Ken as Spitter blasted Kevin 11,000 with slime before switching into Buzzshock.

Comics[]

• In The Once and Future Ben, Spitter tried to stop Vilgax 3000, but failed, due to him traveling back in time.

Trivia[]

• Not counting Wildmutt, Spitter is the only regular alien to have never spoken on-screen.
• Spitter is one of the only two regular aliens in Ultimate Alien to not have the Ultimatrix symbol on their chests and have it on their stomachs instead; the only other one being Murk Upchuck.
• During Omniverse's early run, Matt Wayne believed that Ben had not unlocked Spitter as of The Frogs of War: Part 2.^{[MW 1]} Later during the show's run, Derrick J. Wyatt stated that Spitter was unlocked off-screen after Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens and is available to Ben in present day.^{[DJW 1]}
  • Correlating with this, when asked if Benzarro has access to Spitter, Derrick stated "It seems like he has access to most of what Ben does".^{[DJW 2]}
• Spitter is one of two regular transformations that has never been used by Ben Prime on-screen, the other being Eon. He is also the only regular alien featured in the Original Series that did not appear in Omniverse.
  • His absence from Omniverse was because the crew ran out of time. They tried to include as many aliens as they could during production. However, Spitter never came up during any episode discussions.^{[DJW 3][DJW 4]}
• Spitter's Original Series design was made by Thomas N. Perkins IV^{[TNP 1]} and re-purposed from one of Perk Upchuck's concept designs.
• Had Spitter appeared in Omniverse, he probably would have looked pretty similar to his Ultimate Alien design but with a new costume with more green on it.^{[DJW 5][DJW 6]} Derrick and Thomas Perkins would have chosen Fred Tatasciore as his voice actor.^{[DJW 7][TNP 2]}
