The Zok Troops, also known as the Zokket Army, are the main antagonists of Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are an army seeking to sunder Concordia and keep it separated and resurrect a monster called Reclusa. The Zok Troops make their debut when the Bros. reach Desolatt Island.

Lord Zokket (leader): Zokket is the Zok Troops' leader. His goal is to resurrect a monster called Reclusa. Though Mario and Luigi manage to kill him, rescuing Cozette in the process, the fiend is still awakened. Zokket is identified by his top hat and cloak.
The Extension Corps: Namely, Ecks, Ten, and Shun, these three serve as the Zok Troops' higher-ups.
Mettozokettoheitachi: The footsoldiers of the Zokket Army, resembling USB cables. The regular variant is armless and wears helmets for protection, hence the name, but there are other variants with arms wielding different weaponry.
Snaptors: Crimson birds with beaks that resemble pliers. A larger variant called Mega Snaptor fights the Bros. on Lottacoins Island. Snaptors typically appear around the Color-Full Sea.
Gobblick: A large plant-like monster created by the Extension Corps by feeding it Spite Bulbs and the boss of the Great Lighthouse of the Lushgreen Sea. It attacks by striking the Bros. with its vine limbs. Using Luigi Logic will cause the Bros. to grab its tongue and hurl it towards a group of updraft fans, causing it to grow dizzy.
Sharpcast: A large barrel-like monster created by the Extension Corps by feeding it Spite Bulbs and the boss of the Great Lighthouse of the Color-Full Sea. It attacks by throwing barrels at the Bros. or by rolling into them. At low health, it will hide in its body to block all damage, although using Luigi Logic to move the treadmill it stands on to stack metal crates on it will leave it exposed, tumbling down the shaft.
Pipegunk: A large monster made of toxic sludge created by the Extension Corps by feeding it Spite Bulbs and the boss of the Great Lighthouse of the Brrrning Sea. It shoots blobs of gunk at the Bros. through its cannons. During the battle, Shun will rotate the stage into a Magma or Ice Area, enhancing Pipegunk with fire or ice respectively. Using Luigi Logic to yank Shun's remote away will swap to the opposite area, temporarily weaking Pipegunk.

Trivia[]

Etymology: "Zok Troops" seems to be a play on "shock troops."
