Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
The Red Sharks are the main antagonists of the third season of the Disney Channel TV series Soy Luna. They are a team of elite skaters created by Gary López following Jam & Roller's loss at the RodaFest. The Red Shark's coach was Gary López and the team's trainer was Juliana. The team's members were Ámbar Smith, Emilia, Benicio, and Ramiro Ponce.
Gary López, an influential businessman, came to Buenos Aires and became quite interested in Jam & Roller, a place where everyone could skate, and planned to solely invest money in order to implement new changes in it. Luna and her friends did not agree that their team's name should be changed. However, they were proven wrong when the Sliders won RodaFest and, as a result, Gary decided that the Jam & Roller did not exist anymore and give new birth to a new one: The Red Sharks.
Present Day[]
Part 1[]
After Jam & Roller's loss at Roda Fest, Gary rebrands the restaurant and team into the "Red Sharks," named after his surf team, which would consist of Ámbar, Emilia, Benicio and Ramiro as the official teammates. Although they are excellent skaters, Gary is usually very harsh on them for their overconfidence and selfishness. Nevertheless, Gary does whatever it takes to prevent Jam & Roller from being brought back to its former glory and keeping them out of the rink at all times. Eric Andrade is the new rink assistant, whom Gary often intimidates. He briefly fires Juliana for her involvement with the Roller in using the rink to rehearse and record a video. He also considered to have her training license suspended by the skating federation. When he tried to punish Jam & Roller for their defiance, Nina strikes back at Gary with blackmailing and he relents. However, since his nephew Nico was the one looking after the place, Gary, as punishment for his betrayal, gives him and Pedro an ultimatum: They will have to pay monthly rents of his loft or face being kicked out if they don't have the money. They manage to keep the loft thanks to Matteo's cooperation. Gary is then forced to hire Juliana back for two reasons: The trainer who replaced her decided to quit due to Red Shark's rude behavior while other trainers turned him down.
While all this happens, the Red Sharks have been conspiring against Jam & Roller to prevent them from returning to fame: They lock Luna and Matteo up to stop them from recording the team's skating video (until they are later unknowingly released by Jazmín and Nina), Ámbar and Emilia erase the video but it is retrieved thanks to Jazmín and Ramiro records their performance on the rink and shows the video to Ámbar, who then shows it to Gary, which led to him yelling at the former team and almost punishing them until Nina came to their defense. They even go as far as to humiliate Luna in the Open Music at her house by displaying onscreen a photo of Emilia and Matteo kissing (even though Matteo rejected her), which left her devastated and believed that she could no longer trust him. With help from Ramiro, nevertheless, Matteo manages to obtain the evidence and clear his name.
The day of the Red Shark Festival arrives and things could not get any worse. The Roller team is barred from attending on Gary's orders and, to lift their spirits, they decide to skate outside. Felipe Mendevilla, an Olympic skater, was also in attendance and struck by Luna's talent, but Gary tricks him into believing that she had an injury when asked about her. To his an the Red Shark's shock, people started to leave so they could watch Jam & Roller skating outside and their performance went viral. Felipe is disappointed that Gary lied to him. Furious, Gary lashed out at the Red Sharks, accusing them of being completely unprofessional and only thinking about themselves. In addition, he argues that the Jam & Roller were active in promoting their team to the media while Red Sharks did nothing that could boost their popularity, only posting memes and couple pictures. He feels that trusting them was a mistake, though they refuse to take responsibility as they believe that Luna planned the whole thing as revenge for not being allowed inside. Later on, Gary (in an emotional outburst) reprimands Eric for his incompetence in doing his job of keeping the Roller team out.
Part 2[]
For the second part, the Red Sharks have a very smaller role than they did in the previous part of Season 3, with little future ahead for them but lots of possibilities for the return of Jam & Roller. The Red Sharks are moping over their cancelled festival and blame Luna and her friends for ruining it for them, despite Ramiro trying to get them to take responsibility. They vow to make Jam & Roller pay for what they did to them. Despite the Red Sharks' refusal of accepting defeat, Gary suspends all trainings until further notice. Later on, Gary fires Juliana once again, deeming her responsible for what happened at the Red Shark Festival. Juliana is truly pleased for her termination, especially now that she won't have to stick to his authority anymore and proclaims that it was Gary himself, and not Juliana, who ended up losing. Still disappointed for their incompetence, Gary eventually and permanently disbands the Red Sharks, much to their distraught and fury; Emilia (who left her country and family to pursue her dream) and Ramiro (who aspires to commit himself to the skating) are the most affected by the news.
Meanwhile, Felipe returns to Jam & Roller, asking Simón and Pedro if Luna can see him for a proposal he wants to make for her. However, with Luna being absent at the time and Felipe being in a bit of a rush, he leaves them his phone number for Luna to contact him. They were overheard by Ámbar and Benicio who, as an act of revenge, change his number and replace it for a false one that they leave behind on the bartending table, despite Ramiro's objections and out of jealousy for Felipe choosing Luna over them. Emilia then makes Luna believe that Felipe was on a trip for two weeks. Later, Gary proposes to Jam & Roller that they be the new Red Sharks team and replace the former teammates. However, due to Gary's unfair treatment towards them, they refuse. As a result, Gary ends up kicking Nico, Pedro, Simón and Matteo out of his loft, leaving them with no other choice but to move to the Benson Mansion. Gary was further angered to learn that Nina wrote another article that exposes his true character. Because of this, he no longer has any influence over VIDIA's decisions, leaving Gary unable to renew the contract for the Red Sharks team. With nothing else to do, Gary leaves Jam & Roller for good and Ámbar takes his place as the sole administrator.
The news left everyone shocked, with the exception of Emilia and Benicio, who saw this as an opportunity to forbid Jam & Roller from using the rink and revive the Red Sharks. Simón later finds out about the forgery of Felipe's number and wants Ámbar to tell Luna the truth herself, but she never does. Just as Simón was about to tell Luna instead, Ramiro quickly arrives, reveals the deception and states that he had nothing to do with it. After Simón confirms Ramiro's confession, Luna becomes mad at Simón because it was kept from her and believed that he was trying to protect Ámbar, though they later make up. As for Ramiro, his behavior begins to improve as he is seen skating with Luna and misses being with Jam & Roller. Despite some reluctance from his friends (even the unforgiving Yam), Ramiro is welcomed back in his old team. When Delfi and Jazmín were talking over staging a fight to gain more followers for their respective channels (Fab and Chic/Ja-Jazmín), Emilia and Benicio record and expose them as liars. Ramiro later tells Delfi and Jazmín about it and Pedro records them feeling truly sorry for their mistakes.
Ámbar, on the other hand, also starts to have a change of heart as her job at Jam & Roller taught her more about responsibility and quits the Red Sharks team, leaving both Emilia and Benicio completely frustrated. At the Roller Jam party, Benicio disguises himself in Simón's costume to fool Ámbar and kiss her, which is seen by a devastated Simón. Ámbar yells at Benicio, but Simón is upset and believes that his friends were right about not trusting Ámbar because she would end up hurting him. This was just until Simón saw a video that Delfi recorded at the party, which showed Ámbar arguing with Benicio, and Simón realized she was telling the truth.
Meanwhile, word comes out about a casting audition for skater and both Jam & Roller and Red Sharks decide to give it a shot. Even though they did great and were preselected, both teams were never chosen. As a final act of revenge, Emilia and Benicio decide to have Ámbar fired from her general manager job by stealing the folder that contains important documents and bills of the Jam & Roller and reporting the "problem" to VIDIA's authorities. The plan suceeds and, with the bills nowhere to be found, the manager of VIDIA fires her. Ámbar and the others correctly deduce that Emilia and Benicio were to blame, since Simón, Ámbar and Eric noticed them acting strangely. Emilia and Benicio later overhear Juliana confiding in Ramiro, Jim and Yam over how she feels sorry for the two of them since they cannot work together as a team and they are only hurting themselves. They have asked Juliana for a couple skating, but she was against recommending them due to their bad behaviour. If they can't work togehter, then they aren't meant to become great skaters.
Benicio later rants about how they lost their opportunity because of Ámbar, but Emilia dismisses this, arguing that what's happening to them is not her fault and that Juliana does not trust them after everything they did and they must accept the truth: Emilia and Benicio messed up. Benicio insist that it is too late, but Emilia says that it is never late to make things right. Benicio asks her what is the point and Emilia tells him that they won't get anywhere by messing with people's lives (or Ámbar's), with Benicio adding that neither by helping her or the Roller team. Emilia has enough of this and tells Benicio that they should stop talking about that team, what matters is that Ámbar was right about everything because Emilia and Benicio are always spying on the Roller team, but it's because they don't know what to do or where to go. Benicio agrees and suggests that they find a project of their own, while Emilia says that they should start thinking about their future. Benicio asks her if it's just about skating; Emilia says yes and if he was thinking of anything else. It becomes clear that he has started to develop feelings for Emilia. He feigns ignorance and asks her what has come to her mind. Somehow flattered at his advances and chuckling knowingly, Emilia responds "Look Benicio, let's start with the skating and then we'll see". True enough, Emilia and Benicio did change for the good: They return the bills to Ámbar (off-screen), wish good luck to the Jam & Roller team on their performance for the opening of the River Live Fest and thank Juliana for everything she did for them.
Emilia and Benicio are last seen attending Luna's 18th birthday party at the Benson Mansion happily enjoying her performance of "Soy Yo", finally putting an end to the Red Sharks for good.

Ámbar, Emilia and Benicio lock Luna and Matteo up in the dressing rooms to stop the recording of their video with the team. They are later coincidentally released by Jazmín and Nina.
