Biography[]
Early life[]
According to the Cluemaster, Lazlo Valentin was a known hitman in Gotham City. Until one day, Lazlo decided to start a family with a wife and kids, so he had to give up his life of being a hitman. He also became a chef in the Jeturian Industries dining hall of Jada Jet's office.
He had a good life until Lazlo was fired by Jada, who then became very disgruntled for unknown reasons. Unable to find any work, Lazlo was forced to tell his family that he was fired and that he would not be able to support them, which led to his wife divorcing him and taking his kids with her. With nothing else to do, Lazlo then had no choice but to come out of retirement and spend the next following years plotting his revenge against Jada Jet by trying to find out as much about her and her personal life as to use that against her.
Batwoman[]
Sometime later, Lazlo decided to put his revenge into motion and managed to trick Jada into hiring him as an out-of-town chef from Metropolis for a dinner party she was throwing for her long-lost daughter Ryan Wilder and her friend Sophie Moore who brought herself along as her date. Jada's butler then told him to prepare for Sophie to which he said he would. After he left, Lazlo then began to caress a cooked pig before dramatically chopping the head off with a clever and then told the head that he would make Jada and the guest squeal before laughing manically.
When the party began, Lazlo contacted Jada's son, Marquis Jet, and told him that there was a family dinner party that Jada did not tell him about, so he crashed into the party, upset and thinking Ryan had betrayed him. As the night went on and tensions flared, Lazlo then poisoned the wine with a paralysis drug, and when Marquis' date, Zoey, left for the bathroom, Lazlo attacked and killed Zoey.
As the guests finish their wine, they all begin to realize that they were poisoned, Lazlo then enters the room in his Professor Pyg disguise and reveals himself to everyone, and reminds Jada of who he is. After explaining how Jada ruined his life when she fired him, he reveals that he was the one who informed Marquis of the party. He then tells her that he planned to teach her a lesson by making her lose what she loved, her son and her long-lost daughter, which he regarded as a bonus. As Lazlo prepared to kill Marquis, Ryan stabs him in the leg with her knife, and everyone tries to escape. When their attempt fails, they manage to make it upstairs into a panic room, leading an angry Pyg to begin making a bomb to draw them out.
When Ryan goes back down to get insulin to save Marquis, she is eventually caught by Pyg in the basement, he then threatens to kill her if Jada does not give herself up. As Jada stops Lazlo and begs him not to kill her daughter, Ryan manages to inject herself with some of the insulin, allowing her to shake off some of the drugs and fight back, with Sophie at once doing the same to herself and Marquis. As the two girls fight back against Lazlo, Marquis wakes up and stabs him in the back, and knocks him down then Marquis prepares to violently stab him repeatedly, killing him in the process. His body was then wheeled outside, along with his pig mask.
Personality[]
Lazlo Valentin was once a caring husband and father, until he was fired and divorced, which left him feeling disgruntled and abandoned. Afterward, he became unstable, vengeful, angry, and obsessed with killing Jada Jet and anyone who gets in his way.
