Staff of Nerissa

The Staff of Nerissa is a mystical object which Nerissa possessed after she escaped from her prison.

Appearance[]

It is a wooden staff with a sphere in it hold by four tooth-like branches.

Plot[]

It helps her while she is free and replaces her Auramere, for Nerissa is a former Guardian of Quintessence. The staff also helps Nerissa by casting spells, teletransportating, glamoring and folding.^{[citation needed]} Nerissa last has the staff on Zamballa where she intentionally loses several fight against W.I.T.C.H. and Kadma. During the last of them, she's blasted by Will, causing her to drop the staff which likely gets destroyed in the resulting explosion. Losing the staff doesn't bother her though; after she tricks Kadma to absorbing the Heart of Meridian into the Heart of Zamballa, it creates the Seal of Nerissa which becomes Nerissa's new magical object, while Kadma falls under Nerissa's illusion.^[1]

Powers[]

In the TV series, the staff enables Nerissa to strengthen the powers of a former Guardian as it replaces an Auramere, preventing the user from draining their life force.
