The W.I.T.C.H. Manga is a manga adaptation of the comic books of the same name. It was written and illustrated by Haruko Iida and published in the Japanese manga publication, Asuka Monthly for eight issues between May 2003 and January 2004, after which it was cancelled.[1]
The manga was published instead of translating the orginal Italian comic books as it was thought that the western style of the original comics from Italy would not sell well in Japan.[citation needed] To date, there is no official English translation.

Collected editions[]
The manga was collected into two volumes, which contain covers by Daisuke Ehara.[citation needed] The two volumes were also published in Italy and Eastern Europe by the Italian Disney Manga.[2]
