Heartbreak Island is the third novel in the W.I.T.C.H. Adventures series. It was written by Lene Kaaberbøl and first published in Denmark by Egmont in 2003.[1] An English version was published in the USA by Hyperion Books for Children in 2004.[2]
Synopsis[]
Taranee is red-hot mad when her brother stands her up and she misses a basketball game. Her anger flares, and she wishes that she didn't have a brother. The next morning, Peter doesn't come home after surfing. Taranee realizes that there is dark magic behind his disappearance. With the other four Guardians, she sets out for a mysterious island in search of her brother and discovers that forgiveness can be an important power.
