Telepathos
| ||||||||||||||||
|
Telepathos is a Mid-Boss that made his first appearance in Kirby: Planet Robobot. He yields the ESP Copy Ability when inhaled. The projectiles he fires can be swallowed for the Spark ability. His name is a pun on "telepath" (or "teleport") and "pathos".
He is a bizarrely-shaped, mysterious and eminently potent flying creature. His main body is white and forms a vague U-shape covered with stripes of constantly changing colors. He also possesses two disembodied hands which have three equally-spaced flat circular thumbs on each. Telepathos attacks by throwing out orbs of energy and teleporting short distances in order to dodge attacks.

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]
Telepathos is not a particularly common Mid-Boss in the game, but he does have a stronger counterpart called Telepathos 2.0 who has a nearly inverted color scheme.

Team Kirby Clash Deluxe & Super Kirby Clash[edit]
“ | Watch out for surprise sky attacks! He's mastered many mysterious magics. | ” | — Tough Quest flavor text from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash |
Telepathos reappears in these spinoff RPG adventures, twice in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and four times in Super Kirby Clash. He is much more potent in this incarnation, able to do many tricky flight maneuvers, and can shoot his mind blasts in many different ways. His aerial nature makes him a difficult target for Team Kirby to hit, but he is especially vulnerable to the Beam Mage's Time Beam attack. In Super Kirby Clash, a Super-rank Party Quest has him paired with a Greater Doomer and Venom Kracko to form Team Floatrio.
Attacks[edit]

The following are all of Telepathos' attacks in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash. Note that attack names are conjectural:

Spinning Orb Scatter | Telepathos begins spinning around rapidly, throwing orbs out as he does. |
Trivia[edit]
- In the English versions of Super Kirby Clash, flavor text for Telepathos refers to the enemy as both "he" and "it". This is likely a mistake on the part of the localization team; Team Kirby Clash Deluxe solely uses "he" to describe Telepathos, and this description was reused unaltered in Super Kirby Clash despite containing new text that refers to Telepathos as "it".
