Costume (Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's Rebooted)

Yeah, that back room hasn't been cleaned up for quite a while. Uh, so yeah, just keep an eye over there and make sure nothing bad happens.	„

Costume is a mascot suit of Check E. Cheese and the overarching antagonist of Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's Rebooted. Unlike the rest of the cast, it isn't an animatronic, implying something paranormal is controlling it.

Appearance[]

Costume is a large bipedal gray rat suit. It wears a yellow shirt with two black buttons, a red and white vest, and a black bowtie. It has a small red bowler hat with a yellow stripe and "Pizza Time Theater" written on it. Its eyes are small and human-like with black streaks running from them down the face, and its snout, inner ears, toes, and tail are all peach-colored.

Biography[]

Costume first activates on night 2, where the phone guy tells the player of other employees complaining about things being knocked over in the Dressing Room and that there may be a rat back there, telling them to keep an eye on the room's camera in case something happens in there.

Costume will start in the Dressing Room on Channel 4 and progress to the office in the order of the Entrance in Channel 5, the Restrooms in Channel 3, the Play Area in Channel 1, and finally the Arcade in Channel 2. Costume's progress can't be stopped and can only be delayed by watching it on the cameras as often as possible, which will prevent it from moving for a short while. If it gets to the office's entrance, rather than attacking it will hold up the gate whenever the player tries to close it, leaving the player completely defenseless against the animatronic version of Chuck E. (as well as Modern Chuck E. during Custom Night). It also disables the flashlight, allowing The Bear to attack easily during Custom Night. Since Costume can't be made to go back to a room after it leaves, stalling it long enough to reach 6 A.M. is mandatory to survive.

Its available at max difficulty during the Custom Night challenges Double Trouble, All Rats, Nightmare and True Nightmare. After beating True Nightmare, a cutscene will play of Costume taking its head off, revealing a mirror inside.

It's the only version of Chuck E. to not speak.
It, Modern Chuck E. and The Bear are the only three characters with legs.
