Clownbert Clownsley Clownington, better known as simply Clownbert, is the titular central antagonist of the Showtime video game series.

He serves as the central antagonist of Showtime, Showtime II and Showtime: Final Act, and as the secondary antagonist of Showtime III (as Dark Clownbert). He is a clown animatronic who is the titular mascot of Clownbert's, the official restaurant chain of Circus Entertainment. While he normally acts like a friendly animatronic, when under Ringmaster's control, he and his fellow animatronics become hostile and will attempt to kill anyone they find.

In Showtime: Final Act, after his original incarnation was destroyed in the collapse of the Circus Entertainment warehouse, he was replaced with Neo Clownbert for the newly-opened Clownbert's Deluxe restaurant.

Appearance[]

Clownbert is a bulky clown animatronic. He has a fully white face with a red nose, red frizzy hair and red triangles decorated on his eyes, which also turn red when he is under Ringmaster's control. He wears a white collar with a red bow tie on it and a blue fabric jumpsuit covered with white stars, squares, triangles and circles. He also has white gloves and long brown shoes.

As Withered Clownbert, most of his jumpsuit is ripped, particularly on his left hand, right arm and lower body, showing most of his animatronic endoskeleton. Furthermore, his right hair tuft is partly torn, and his left eye and the bottom half of his jaw is also missing, revealing his animatronic eye and teeth.

As Neo Clownbert, he is mostly similar to his original version. However, he has a rounder head, smaller nose, rectangles around his eyes, a navy blue jumpsuit, and metal rims around his smaller eyes, which are used to change the size of his aforementioned eyes.

As Dark Clownbert, he takes the form of a purple outline of Clownbert which contains a dark skeletal figure with red bloodshot eyes and yellow bloodied teeth.

Trivia[]

Excluding Ringmaster, Clownbert is one of the five animatronics to be human, alongside Maximus, Dolly, Clownbob and Tina.
Alongside Old Lionel and Ringmaster, Clownbert is the only animatronic to attack when the power reaches zero in the first game.
