The Mimic is the overarching antagonist of the 2023 fanfilm Five Night's at Freddy's.

It is a system and computer that is responsible for corrupting all the artificially intelligent animatronics filled with the souls of little children. The Mimic was built by Will Afton and it listens to his commands. It also programs the others into doing what he wishes for them to do.

History[]

The Mimic was built by Will Afton as a control panel so he can keep using his animatronics for vicious schemes. It obeys Will's orders and does as he wishes, so the animatronics would remain under his control. However, it has it's intelligence and free will, and it will not hesitate before it makes animatronic spirits kill Mike Sandbarson and whoever helps him on duty.

The Mimic is later seen inside the control room, as it looks like a camera/computer hanging on the celling of the room. Funtime Freddy reveals it's purpose; to control the animatronics under Will Afton/Vanny's command, and make them kill whoever its master wants to move out of his way. Funtime Freddy reveals that he came to it's location to sabotage control upon The Mimic. Vanessa enters the room and throws a knife at The Mimic, causing it to fall off the celling and electrocute as it crashes into Funtime Freddy. Both Funtime Freddy and The Mimic are destroyed completely during this electric incident. After the demise of The Mimic and it's systems, the animatronics were set free out of its control on them.

Trivia[]

It is the first version of The Mimic in a live action fanfilm.
Unlike the original Mimic, this Mimic does not have a central storyline providing a background story.
