Ringmaster Mudkrab sets up his circus in front of the Krusty Krab and attracts all of its customers away. He claims to have legal right to set up his circus there and taunts Mr. Krabs
about how he took his customers from him. Mr. Krabs explains to SpongeBob and Squidward that Ringmaster Mudkrab steals his customers every year, and he plans on putting a stop to it. Ringmaster Mudkrab, who is inside of a trailer, discusses plans with his circus crew, however, Mr. Krabs locks them all up inside so that he can sabotage the circus.
Mudkrab eventually breaks free from the trailer and tries to stop Mr. Krabs. Mr. Krabs tries to use circus equipment to outmanuver Mudkrab, but Mudkrab relentlessly pursues him. After finding himself stranded on a tightrope, Mr. Krabs resorts to throwing sea urchins at Mudkrab, which results in him tumbling off the tightrope. However, the urchins then proceed to chew through the tightrope, which causes Mr. Krabs to plummet.
Mr. Krabs makes an escape on a unicycle and is chased by Mudkrab, who is riding a motorcycle. The chase reaches its climax with both of them leaping into cannons and firing at each other. The result isn't shown, however, it does result in applause from the audience and staff.
A week later, SpongeBob and Squidward are shown in an empty Krusty Krab and SpongeBob wonders if Mr. Krabs will come back, however, Squidward thinks that he won't because of how much money he's making. It's then shown that Mr. Krabs and Ringmaster Mudkrab have fused and became a new attraction for the circus, much to the enjoyment of the audience.
