The Bubble Poppin' Boys are the main antagonists of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "What ever happened to SpongeBob".
They are a New Kelp City gang that harm (and most likely kill) any bubble blower in said city.
Their only speaking member, the leader, is voiced by the late Ray Liotta.
Biography[]
At New Kelp City, SpongeBob's bubble blowing attracts the attention of a menacing gang known as the Bubble Poppin' Boys, who have scared the entire city into never blowing any bubbles again because bubble soap burns when it gets into their eyes. They decided to show SpongeBob what they do to people that break their rules, which is beat them up and possibly kill them. While he is scared, SpongeBob manages to run away and escape, and the gang to chase after him until they have him cornered. SpongeBob uses his bubble-blowing abilities to trap all of them in a large bubble, which results in them being sent out of the city and the town being frees from their reign.
In "Glove World R.I.P.", the green fish from the gang makes an appearance as the mascot of Glove World!, Glovey Glove.
