Personality[]
“ | Mister Joestar, this guy is dangerous! He's cruel! Even more insane than Dio! | „ |
~ Robert E.O. Speedwagon on Jack the Ripper. |
With his good looks and clothing, he is able to lure his potential female victims to walk with him on a dark night. Then he would reveal his true colors, eviscerating the unlucky woman victim to death with his knife or a scalpel. As a zombie, his bloodlust becomes even worse. Jack is shown to have a desire nothing other than to cut things and cause pain while he is at it.
Biography[]
Jack used the guise of a nobleman to lure women, after which he killed them in a surgical fashion. His method of killing was already gripping London with panic and fear.
When he finished off killing his final victim (presumed to be Mary Jane Kelly, his fifth prey in real life) as a human, Dio Brando encounters him and turns Jack into one of his zombie underlings. After this Jack turns into an abominable monster, feeding on corpses given to him by DIO. The group of Jonathan Joestar, Will Zeppeli, and Speedwagon is attacked by Jack inside the tunnel entrance to Windknight's Lot, using various scalpels buried into his body to attack them after killing their horses. After Will deflects the scalpels with his Wine Cutter, Jack opens a secret passage on the tunnel and enters it. Will gives JoJo a glass of wine and tells him to defeat Jack. Jack takes advantage of the darkness and attacks by using a huge torture device, but JoJo learns to use the wine to track down Jack, attacking him from behind a wall and disintegrating him.

Trivia[]
- In the manga, Jack refuses DIO's proposal of becoming his servant at first but capitulates and becomes a zombie after a failed attempt to kill Dio. In the anime, without a fight DIO simply hypnotizes Jack to come forward so that the former could suck his blood to turn him into a loyal zombie minion.
