Tarak is a supporting antagonist in the Disney Channel TV series The Owl House, serving as a minor character in "Eda's Requiem" and "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door", the secondary antagonist of "Edge of the World", and a minor character in the series finale "Watching and Dreaming".

He is a member of the Titan Trappers who, like the other Trappers, wants to find the last Titan to free their deity, the Grand Huntsman. He was also the one who sent a letter to King Clawthorne, asking him to come to their island, since he believed he was a Titan Trapper.

He was voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.

His Villainous Deeds[]

Upon learning that King was a Titan, he and the other Trappers attempted to sacrifice him to their deity in order to gain glory and power.
When Luz and Hooty rescued King, he and his allies weakened, and Tarak prepared to use his magic on both of them in an attempt to kill them.
Even after being confronted with the possibility that Titans weren't actually evil, he still pursued the heroes in an attempt to capture them and complete the ritual.
While he's played for laughs before the reveal that he's evil, he's played completely seriously after the reveal.
It's debatable if him being turned into a puppet by the Collector makes him a scapegoat, as he tried to murder King, Luz, and Hooty in cold blood and arguably deserved his fate.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

Unlike Bill, he's never seen a live Titan until he met King, and therefore never participated in the Titan genocide. This makes him fail the heinous standard too much to be even Near Pure Evil, since his worst crime is just trying to kill the heroes.
He did appear to be genuinely affable to Luz, King, and Hooty when they first arrived. He was also happy to connect with King at first, and even agreed to play a game with him.
He seems to care for the other Titan Trappers, as he's disgusted when it's revealed Bill lied about granting them glory.
