Anne BonnyWP (アン・ボニーWP, An Bonī?) and Mary ReadWP (メアリ・リードWP, Meari Rīdo?), Class Name Rider (ライダー, Raidā?), is a Rider-class Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Profile[]
Identity[]
Female pirates who existed during the Golden Age of PiracyWP.[1] They are members of the most famous pirates in history, and they are extremely unique pirates. They were two female pirates on board the pirate ship Calico Jack lead by a man named John RackhamWP.[2]
History[]
One person was Anne Bonny. She was the daughter of a wealthy person, born into a prosperous household, but was a natural hooligan. In the end, she eloped with a good-for-nothing man, a small-time punk. She would later separate from said punk and joined with John Rackham and his pirate group, raising a pirate flag together.[1]
And the other person was Mary Read. She was working on a Dutch ship after disguising herself as a man and slipping into the ship as one, before on a certain day, as she was in the process of working, she was captured by Rackham’s pirate group and was forced to become one of their crew members.[1][2] In her household, she was originally raised as a male by her mother, so it seems that she has fitted into the piracy business.[2]
Anne Bonny would meet Mary Read upon capturing the ship from Holland, and having met by chance, the two endeavored as pirates under the command of captain John Rackham.[1][2] Mary Read fought boldly together with Anne Bonny whom she personally shared her secret of being a woman. Thanks to the fact that they were both women, Anne and Mary got along well, forming a duo and devoting themselves to the piracy business.[1] The two are close friends, comrades in arms, linking a powerful bond between them that goes beyond passions such as romantic love.[2]
It was the same in their last battle. When John Rackham’s pirate group have anchored in JamaicaWP, they received an attack from privateers (they are ships permitted to snatch away enemy cargos, and it is possible to say that they are state-authorized pirates). It is said that Anne Bonny and Mary Read are the only two people that fought to the end while John Rackham and his subordinate men became frightened and hid inside their ship’s hatch. A testimony left behind said that one among the two fired her pistol into the ship’s hatch while shouting “Come out and fight like men!” In the end, Rackham and his group were arrested without having fought back, and the two female pirates were finally captured after a fierce battle.[2] There are many testimonies that, among those in John Rackham's ship. those two fought with greater dauntless courage than anybody else.[1]
Whether one were a man or a woman, if one were a pirate, then their sentence would be quite unpleasant: a death by hanging.[3]
That's why Mary and Anne fought so desperately in their final battle. With their rifles firing, their cutlasses twirling, and a constant war cry coming from their mouths, they stained themselves in blood. They fought like women possessed. Incidentally, their captain and fellow crew members only called themselves pirates. They enjoyed robbing others, but lacked the resolve to be robbed from themselves. Shutting themselves away in the ship's hold, they shivered in fear with faces reminiscent of sobbing stray dogs. There were only two pirates aboard the Calico Jack, Mary Read and Anne Bonny.[3]
Mary Read died while suffering from a fever in the middle of her imprisonment, while it was said that Anne Bonny escaped due to her father’s moves; Anne managed to later live peacefully until she inevitably died from old age, though she continued to be a pirate at heart. At that time, Anne informed John Rackham with a scornful look in her eyes: “If you had fought like a man, you need not have been hang’d like a dog.”[2]
… The name John Rackham remained in pirate history. However, the reason is not because of his own bravery and atrocities he committed, but as “the shameful coward who was the captain of the ship that had on board, two rare female pirates named Anne Bonny and Mary Read.”[2]
Appearance[]
Personality[]
Anne Bonny[]
A passionate, beautiful woman. She loves Mary dearly as a close friend, family member and younger sister. She has a character with a daredevil attitude and a wealth of experience, able to treat men skillfully, and she possesses a lively courage that brings shame to men, who is “not afraid of even death, greeting it with a laugh.” It is said that a portion of her “core” is heroic.[2] Anne is very friendly to others unconditionally.[1]
Mary Read[]
A young woman who talks with her mouth in murmurs and with few words. Fundamentally, she has a quaint and ladylike character, but because she was raised as a man, she is forced to be tough and strongly masculine and hides her “core” that is feminine. She is a little rebellious against authority, and fights with a dauntless courage on the battlefield regardless of her relationship to either gender.[2] Mary is initially hard to approach while eventually "becoming more emotionally attached than anybody else upon opening her heart."[1]
Both together takes into consideration of their Master and if they are of the “same class” as them. They are fundamentally a little rebellious, especially even more so if their partner is a person of the bourgeois class. They have no problem with people such as the naïve Shirou or with Rin who is neutral towards the authorities, but they feel that what they call "the worst compatibility" is being partnered with someone like Tokiomi.[2] They are both quite fond of Ritsuka Fujimaru, to the point where they have made open sexual advances towards Fujimaru as a way of claiming them as a "treasure".
They possess no wish for the Holy Grail, but their nature as pirates makes them pursue it anyway.[1]
Relationships[]
- Francis Drake
- "Anne: Oh, it's Francis Drake, Mary!
- Mary: If we had a good captain like her, we would be able to have good fights, I guess."[4]
- As female pirates identical to her, they show their respect to her.[2]
- Edward Teach
- "Anne: Sorry, Master. Just now, I saw a bearded man which I shouldn't have, so my fingers slipped. Don't worry, if we dump his body into the sea then all the evidence will be washed away."[4]
- During the Third Singularity, they were summoned as part of his crew and found themselves annoyed by his perverted nature and focus on Euryale instead of Francis Drake's Holy Grail.[5] Since Blackberd embodies a lot of aspects Anne and Mary dislike about themselves, they desire to kill him.[2] Nonetheless, as one of the few pirate Servants in the Chaldea Security Organization, they frequently spent time with him.[6]
- “Shouldn’t we gouge out his eyes for the duration of the Summer Period?”
- “Acknowledged.”[7]
- Bartholomew Roberts
- They tolerate Bartholomew more than they do Blackbeard, despite the fact he wants them to put on wigs to cover their eyes to statisfy his peek-a-bangs fetish.[6]
- Christopher Columbus
- They, along with Bartholomew and Blackbeard, are somewhat jealous of the fact he got a happy ending to his life and hope that he one day gets his comeuppance.[6]
- Mordred (Swimsuit)
- "Anne: Um, excuse me. That surfer has been glaring at me constantly..."[4]
- Other Swimsuit Servants
- “What are you afraid of? Here is The Great Duo that combined the set of large and small. It doesn’t matter how alluring the others are, for there’s no one out there that’ll surpass our charm!”... or so they think.[7]
Role[]
Fate/Grand Order[]
Third Singularity: Okeanos[]
They are reluctantly part of Blackbeard‘s crew, disgusted by his perverted nature and frequently rebuking him for focusing on the capture of Euryale instead of Francis Drake‘s Holy Grail. Hector joins in their frustrations about having Blackbeard as captain. The crew of the Queen Anne’s Revenge eventually catch up to the Golden Hind to capture the Grail and Eurayle. Ritsuka’s party fight against them though, killing Eric Bloodaxe. Anne is impressed by Drake’s shooting out the ropes connecting their ships, comparing her skill to hers. She then blasts a hole in Drake’s ship, but Asterios carries it away despite his injuries. Mary reminds Blackbeard that their goal is the Grail, and Eurayle is just a bonus.[5]
The crew of the Queen Anne’s Revenge later prepares to defend the ship when the Golden Hind catches up to them. Blackbeard is shocked that Drake charging in recklessly when Mary notices Eurayle at the ship’s bow. After killing the crew members who were hit by Eurayle’s arrows, Blackbeard orders Anne to shoot the enemy. Artemis appears on the deck though and begins attacking the crew. Mary fights her directly so Anne can focus on shooting. Artermis leaves however, before she can even fight her. After the ship’s ammo supply is blown up, Blackbeard tries to retreat when the Golden Hind rams into his ship.[8] Ritsuka’s party proceeds to the ship, eventually confronting Anne and Mary. Mash is surprised that together they are one Servant. Mary is surprised Heroic Spirits of the Shield actually exist. She and Anne then fight the group, deciding they’ll win if they hold them off. They’re defeated, and Anne tells Blackbeard to win before she and Mary disappear.[9]
Event: Garden of Order[]
Anne and Mary are one of the Servants missing from Chaldea to serve as a tenant in the Ogawa Apartment. They reside in Room 604. Thanks to Blackbeard, the two have become internet addicts. Ritsuka's party evicts them for refusing to pay rent.[10]
Summer Event: Chaldea Summer Memories[]
Anne and Mary, along with several other of Ritsuka’s Servants, are accidentally rayshifted to a remote island where they’re unable to contact Chaldea. Because they're both pirates, Mary Blackbeard if he knows where they are. But she and Anne threaten to kill him when he acts perverted about her voice. Blackbeard suggests going out to sea to determine where they are. He refuses to go himself, though, not wanting his Noble Phantasm to give himself a ship. Mary and Anne give him a log and plank that drifted onto the beach, calling them his ship and oar. Blackbeard refuses to go out to sea with these until Mary promises to let him touch her body once if he does.
Blackbeard eventually washes back onshore on the verge of death. He reports their location is still unknown but refuses to say more until he gets his reward from Mary. Mary pretends to praise him and touches her hand to his, thereby filling her end of their bargain. Blackbeard is enraged at the deception and reveals it's nearly impossible to leave by ship. After he disappears, everyone agrees with Artoria Pendragon's suggestion that they leave the island to contact Chaldea. Mary suggests building a ship capable of leaving the island. Scáthach alters their Spirit Origins to give them swimsuits to accommodate their current environment. Mary finds it's been a while since she's dressed to swim and asks Ritsuka if she looks weird. Anne compliments that she looks cute. The group goes to gather materials for Scáthach to build their escape ship and other facilities.
Later, the group discusses what their first task of island life should be when a storm suddenly rolls in. They enter a small cave spotted by Mordred to escape the rain, but they run out due to a massive swarm of bugs. Outside the cave, the group decides they need to build a cabin to take shelter in.
After that is built, the group decides to build a water supply to preserve any freshwater they collect. Knowing the importance of water while out at sea, Anne and Mary suggest a faucet for practicality. They've been amazed by the system ever since they saw it at Chaldea. Anne believes their ship wouldn't have suffered from mutinies and water disputes if a faucet installed. She then recalls a rumor about there being faucets that produce orange juice and udon broth.
If the faucet is built, Anne praises the system as a miracle for those who have water shortages. Artoria then appears to test the validity of the rumors Anne spoke of. When Artoria is met with disappointment, Anne calls her demanding and says it's enough that the faucet yields water. Mary agrees with Anne's last statement and takes a drink, which motivates her to gather more freshwater.
Later, Anne and Mary go hunting with Ritsuka, Mash, Cú Chulainn, and Artoria. Cú Chulainn spots a deer on the lee of a nearby. Anne wonders if she should have Mary chase the deer so she can shoot it when it jumps out. Artoria, however, tries to use Excalibur to get the deer until Ritsuka stops her. After the usage of Noble Phantasms are banned, Anne and Mary eventually catch the deer.
After building a proper cooking facility, the group decides to construct a bathing facility. Anne recalls she and Mary only bathed when it rained, so she suggests a simple shower.
If the shower is built, Anne and Mary share the same shower room with Ritsuka. They watch Mordred going back to surf again, even though she just showered; Mary calls it an infinite loop. Ritsuka then asks why they're all in the same shower room. Mary and Anne claim it's an experiment to see if they can use the shower correctly. They then recall washing each other in their life and decide to do the same for Ritsuka.
Afterward, the group decides to cultivate a vegetable field. Anne and Mary suggest growing cabbages, with the former calling it a savior of sailors.
If cabbages are cultivated, Anne explains she called the vegetable a savior of sailors because it saved them from scurvy. For that reason, she chose cabbages as a sort of good luck charm for pirates. Mary comments that luck is very important for pirates because anything can happen out at sea. She then proposes making some cabbage dishes and call everyone for a cabbage party.
Next, the group decides to make a grain field. Mary suggests corn, with Anne calling it piratety. If corn is cultivated, Mash asks about the connection between pirates and corn. Anne and Mary explain corn was one of the many things Christopher Columbus brought back to Europe from the Americas. Mary calls him the forefather of pirates for robbing the Americas and Europe of their "common knowledge." She and Anne are therefore are showing their respect for him with the cornfield. Anne hopes they'll someday find a treasure that will shock the world.
Afterward, the group decides to raise some livestock. Anne and Mary suggest chickens. After Scáthach says they'll need to procure a pair of animals, Anne recalls finding a brood of birds earlier. Mary calls birds are the easiest to procure, revealing the bids Anne mentioned are slow and flightless. If chickens are chosen, Mash sees the birds Anne and Mary mentioned are dodos.
The next night, Anne and Mary join the others in chasing the boar piglet accused of eating their crops. They recall the sad look in Cú Chulainn's eyes after hearing Diarmuid Ua Duibhne and Fionn mac Cumhaill was killed by a boar when he said he was going to protect the base. Mary feels his eyes were saying it would bring great shame to Diarmuid and Fionn if a fellow Celtic male were to defeat the boar. The group eventually finds the piglet with two others defending the crops from a demon boar. Realizing it is the true culprit, the group kills the demon boar. Afterward, Scáthach contracts the piglets to protect the crops. Anne and Mary are fine with it, though Mary admits to herself she feels safer with a ready source of protein nearby.
The next day, the group builds a pathway to improve their efficiency in material gathering, as Artoria suggested. If the railroad track is built, Anne and Mary ride the carts alongside Martha and Mordred.
Next, after building a more efficient water systerm, the goup build a bridge to make traveling easier for Ritsuka. If the ropeway is made, Anne and Mary race the cable cars with Mordred and Martha.
Later, Ritsuka, Mash, Anne, and Mary experience a large tremor. Anne and Mary both panic; Anne holds Fou tightly to her chest, while Mary stabs a tree and holds on for dear life. After the tremor subsides, they admit they're unfamiliar with the ground shaking. Another tremor then occurs; Anne uses her fear as an excuse to hold Ritsuka tightly to her chest. Meanwhile, Mary grabbed Fou's legs to stop him from fleeing in a panic. The group then goes to check for any damage.
They find the earth has been split open to reveal a cave. Anne and Mary immediately go inside, with Ritsuka and Mash following after. Inside, Mary comments a larger cave means a better chance of finding treasure. As the group goes further in, the number of tremors increases; Anne and Mary cling onto Ritsuka the whole time. At the end of the cave, they find Blackbeard's ghost and figure he's the cause of the tremors. Blackbeard declares he'll kill them, claiming Mary hasn't fulfilled the end of her bargain. He is defeated, but he claims he'll keep returning unless they reform their harem desert island lifestyle. Unable to stand the thought of seeing him again, Mary finishes Blackbeard off. Blackbeard disappears satisfied, something that creeps out Mary. Anne believes if she loved Ritsuka or Mary enough that a jealous grudge made her linger after death, then she would be happy if either of them dealt the final blow. Though they didn't find any treasure, Mary says having an expedition with Ritsuka was reward enough for her and Anne.
Later, after building a garden, the group constructs a play area. If the Coliseum is built, Anne and Mary join the tournament to determine Ritsuka’s top Servant.
A couple of days later, the group builds a lookout tower. If the lighthouse is built, Anne says lighthouses are important guideposts for pirates, and they would never take them for granted. Mary says some pirates found lighthouses sacred or loved them more than women. She also recalls disgusting jokes being made about them. Anne and Mary decide not to repeat such jokes out of concern for Mash's innocence. Anne then says they'll happily sail the seas with Ritsuka if they ever wish now that they have a light illuminating their way back.
Next, the group upgrades its residence. Afterward, they prepare to construct a statue as they reach final preparations for their escape ship. Anne asks if it could be like the figureheads placed on a ship's bows to pray for safe sailing. A giant demon boar suddenly arrives, but the group forces it to retreat. Afterward, they construct the statue.
The next day, the ship has finished construction. The group then fights the giant demon boar to protect the piglets when it returns, despite its wounds. However, its stamina proves to be tremendous and charges at the ship to destroy it. The group is able to make it to the ship, thanks to the piglets protecting it. After defeating the giant demon boar, the group and the men board the ship and set sail, with Anne and Mary steering.
Summer Event: Chaldea Heat Odyssey[]
The group eventually makes landfall on a desolate wasteland. They hear a cry for help, which to their surprise, is coming from a boar piglet. They defeat the Shadow Servant chasing the piglet, showing itself to be a demon boar in disguise. The piglet calls the group goddesses and asks them to save this world.
The piglet leads the group to city ruins, where they meet the boar piglet chief. Hearing of their circumstance, the chief thanks the group for saving his grandchild. He tells them the buildings were from advanced civilization built by the piglets. Unfortunately, it ended when the demon boars and Shadow Servants arrived fifty years ago. The chief recounts a legend in his clan about nine goddesses called the Nine Sisters who gave the piglets civilization. As they were said to take human forms, the chief’s grandson assumed the group were the goddesses. In exchange for the piglets’ help, the group starts redeveloping the island.
As the group redevelops the island, Mary says she wants a store. Not to steal from, but to purchase goods from. The piglets suggest either a convenience store, a dollar store, or a used books store. If the used books store is built, the piglets try to sell Anne and Mary a doujin about them that Blackbeard wrote. Anne wants it burned immediately.
Later, the group learns they’re on the same island from before 2,000 years later. They also realize they’re the Nine Sisters. Scáthach warns another 2000 years may pass on the island if they try to leave again by ship, so the group agrees not to leave that way. They agree to discover why the island’s space-time is distorted as they continue to redevelop the island and try to contact Chaldea. They later learn Beowulf is also on the island as an enemy.
Anne and Bonny are present when Marie is teaching the piglets to sing. While Mash finds the piglets' singing soothing, Mary is disappointed they didn't do something more extreme and pirate-like, like a rebellious rock anthem. Anne asks if the R’lyeh incantation wasn't extreme enough for her.
Later, Thomas Edison, who gave the boar piglets electricity 100 years ago, is woken from cryosleep by Ritsuka, Mash, Scáthach, Artoria, and Mordred. The group learns he needs the Holy Grail to build an escape device to contact Chaldea.
Anne and Mary later learn the piglets want a tourist attraction. The piglets suggest either the Arc de Triomphe, a pyramid, or an Eiffel Tower. If Eiffel Tower is built, Mary calls it a disgusting French tower. She doesn't get the point of it, saying it is only tall. The piglets convince her to climb its top by saying it will make her feel like the tallest person in the world. Mary then climbs to the top, amazed at how high it is. Anne is happy that Mary is enjoying it.
Completing more construction projects, the group goes to the demon boars’ lair as they likely have the Grail. As they near their destination, they notice many demon boars guarding the cave. Since the demon boars outnumber them, the group goes with Mordred’s plan to break through the enemy line and hold them off so Ritsuka, Mash, Scáthach, and Edison can enter the cave.
After the escape device is built, the group prepares to leave the island. Anne is disappointed that their "fun vacation" is over and hopes she didn't get fat from all the meat she ate. Mary responds with a frustrated tongue click; Mash comments she thinks she heard the sound of a friendship collapsing. After leaving the island, the group is contacted by Romani Archaman. They learn they were only gone for an hour before rayshifting back to Chaldea.
Final Singularity: Solomon[]
Anne and Mary are amongst the "Okeanos" Singularity Servants assisting Chaldea against the Demon Gods Pillars.[11]
Interlude[]
In their interlude, Capture Captain Kidd’s Treasure, Anne and Mary travel to an island with Ritsuka and Mash in search of Captain Kidd’s treasure. Mary saw it from a distance in life, but she couldn’t get near it for a particular reason. While cutting through a forest, the group is confronted by pirate zombies. After slaying the pirates, the group bury them at Mary’s request. Continuing their journey, Mary explains the treasure is in a cave at the bottom of a mountain. She also points out monsters are part of the reason other pirates never got the treasure. After slaying the monsters, the group enters the cave. There it is revealed Mary couldn’t retrieve the treasure in life because Captain Kidd’s ghost prevented her. After defeating Captain Kidd, the group retrieves his treasure.
Abilities[]
Anne is an expert with the rifle, carrying a long-barreled Blunderbuss.[1]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Magic Resistance (A Rank): Nullifies Magecraft spells that were done in one step
- Riding (— Rank): The Riding Skill has been lost due to the Skill Voyage.
Personal Skill[]
- Marksmanship (B Rank): Her expertise skill. Anne Bonny's shooting ability is to the extent of perfectly hitting a target with a musket, even while on top of a shaking ship.[2] Mary carries a cutlass wrapped in a red cloth due to having been in charge of raiding ships. In Fate/Grand Order, the two have been exceptionally summoned as a single set Servant. There are no penalties towards their statuses, but if one collapses, the other will also become unable to fight as well, no matter the circumstances.[1] Since they are regarded as a single Servant, Parameter abilities are determined by picking up the best values among the two of them.[2]
- Dazzling Pirate Princesses (B+ Rank): Upgrade from Marksmanship in Fate/Grand Order.
- Voyage (A Rank): Their Riding Skill has been lost due to this skill. Skill denoting one's steering techniques for a ship. Because it is specialized for ships only, it is impossible for one to ride horses or chariots. As expected of reputable pirates, both of them are prodigious.[2]
- Docking Assault (B+ Rank): Upgrade from Voyage in Fate/Grand Order.
- Combination (C Rank): Skill that displays how much one’s combat power rises in the case of being on a united front with a specific person. If it is at Rank C, in spite of how severe a battlefield is, a pair can mutually grasp each other’s actions with just a single gaze and then take the most suitable action.
Noble Phantasm[]
Their Noble Phantasm is Caribbean Free Bird, a combination Noble Phantasm in which Anne - who has equipped a musket - covers for the cutlass-wielding Mary. Their Noble Phantasm also receives a great influence from their Combination Skill. No matter what sort of severe battlefield, they will be able to grasp each other's actions with a single gaze and then take the most suitable move.[2]
Forms and Alternate Versions[]
Swimsuit[]
Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Due to getting into swimsuits, the duo decided to notify to others more and more of their dere frequencies. Furthermore, they truly do not want the Master to feel something the likes of them wanting him or her to choose either one of the two; rather, they intend for the Master to choose them as a set.[7]
Personality[]
They begin their approach in the same way as the original Anne & Mary that attained Bond 5. Since it is summer, they feel a little bolder in approaching their Master.[7]
"It is completely okay if you see them to that extent. It is even okay to touch them. Will you proceed with this up to the very end?"[7]
They are a rare pair of female pirates, but this time, they visit the Master in swimsuits carefreely. With a “Bonny!” feeling, Anne attacks the Master in a swimsuit with a high degree of exposure, while Mary pouts in dere towards the Master with a physique that has a “Read!” feeling, turning into a pincer attack.[7][12]
What Anne Bonny and Mary Read wish for more than anything is "an existence they can rely on," "a comrade they can fight together with." In that regard, Chaldea's Master had a passing grade and they are quite attached to them... still, in the words of an anonymous princess - "Isn't it against the rules to arbitrarily sneak into My Room?"[12]
These two don't even try to hide their favor towards the Master. They say that "because it is just a summer love" as a pretext, but the truth is that this Master is to their liking———regardless of said Master being male or female.[12]
Abilities[]
Skills[]
Class Skills[]
- Magic Resistance (D Rank):Magical Resistance of the same degree as an amulet that rejects Magical Energy.
- Independent Action (A Rank): As Anne & Mary have Rank A in this, it is possible for them to maintain materialization in this world for a week even if they are without a Master.
Personal Skill[]
- Beach Flower (A+ Rank):How many looks from the opposite sex one can gather at the beach. Since it is at A+, one has reached the domain of a celebrity.
- Treasure Hunt (Sea) (C Rank):Skills equipped with the Sea Attribute are allowed only for those who live at the sea. There is a medium probability of discovering treasures that were sunk to the bottom of the ocean.
- Honor of Pirates (C+ Rank): Because Anne & Mary were not a captain of a ship, the rank drops a little. However, during the moment when their ship captain becomes cowardly, their honour rise instead.
Noble Phantasm[]
Their Noble Phantasm is Caribbean Free Bird – Act 2. Combination Noble Phantasm in which Anne, who has equipped a musket, covers for Mary, who wields a cutlass in her hand. The materialization of their anecdote in which, just before they were arrested, these two fought hard up to the very end while being surrounded by countless numbers of soldiers. If the state of affairs around them are disadvantageous, the more disadvantageous it is, the more advantageous the damage bonus they acquire. Even if they changed into swimsuits, their style did not change that much.
Development[]
Creation and Conception[]
I-IV is the character illustrator for Anne Bonny and Mary Read.[1][2][7][12] Yuuichirou Higashide is the scenario writer for their character.[2][7]
Comment from Illustrator[]
"You know, I set these two up with those appearances. Last time, I really did not consider that Anne as she is would truly undergo Ascension too. I was able to accept tearing off her skirt and stockings to put into that feeling of revenge. For the swimsuit event this time, although I even like skirts, I also really love waists and bare legs that nicely reaches that thickness."[7]"Last time, I was imagining their golden age that included the time when they were pirates, but this time, these women themselves recognizes that they have these transient lives as Servants, finishing their once human lives after they were clearly arrested, and that became the premise of these designs. I attached to their wrists some shackles as their collars, of which one of them has each other’s hair so that they can be together even when they die separately."[7]
"Mary’s additional weapon, well… I wonder if it was something that was impossible to exist if it was from that era, so I guess it became a fictional weapon from something that was floating on my mind. Perhaps during Mary’s lifetime, it was a product stolen from the site that manufactured and dispatched only one of said weapon and was made for rich people, and although her heart was unusually drawn to it and she wanted to wear it on her person, it was heavy, easy to break, hard to shoot and kill with, and it was difficult to repair those peculiarities, so it seems that there was no opportunity to make use of a little bit of that item up to the very end when her life was taken into custody."[7]
"Even so, it’s different right now after she died. Pulling it from her memories as something joyful in her mind, it is probably that sort of feeling, among other things, that makes her start taking it out completely to her heart’s content compared to when she was not up to the task of using it during those times. Naturally, during the times she does battle, it breaks every time she uses her Noble Phantasm, so it is a weapon similar to garbage that does not even have a great mystery behind it. Given that she can repair it as many times as she likes, it is probably not satisfying to smash it apart when using it carefreely."[7]
"In the picture of their last Ascension, these two women are allowed to remove their shackles, and they put their hands on top of each other’s; this unlikely scene is only after such things are reached. A large quantity of gold coins and a pirate flag (although frankly, that pirate flag is almost not in sight) are laid out underneath their buttocks, and it was fun for them to enjoy themselves a lot. Also, they are wearing the smiles called tomorrow. Because Mary is satisfied with this and that, she is not holding onto her weapons. But Anne cannot relinquish her weapon. Even if she shows a smile on her face, she is still anxious. Even if she grasps this as an ephemeral dream, it is nevertheless the embodiment of a lingering attachment she does not want to lose this time."[7]
"Although, since a heavy story such as that doesn’t suit them as they are now, think of that as further nonsense. If that is a heavy story, then let’s try discussing instead about how nice are meat that seems heavy and looks soft - yeah, let’s try to stick to that. Right, it is an important point for meat to seem heavy."[7]
"Why is that her established body weight? Because that’s how it’s posed. Oh, I mean, since she has a tall stature, an excellent body build, and splendid muscles as well, even with a light estimate, she has to be at least - no, being responsible for somewhat sensitive talks like this must go through a different section, so I find it difficult to really answer that."[7] (Swimsuit Ver.)
