The Child of Einnashe (アインナッシュの仔?) is one of the offspring of the Forest of Einnashe that is active in late 2003, shortly before the start of the Fifth Holy Grail War. Manifesting within the path of the Rail Zeppelin's tracks,[1] it appears in The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II.
Profile[]
Background[]
Within the center of the Forest of Einnashe is a fruit that, once ripe, begins dripping blood. Within the droplets are seeds that germinate in the earth before sprouting into smaller vampiric forests that are called Einnashe's children. Unlike the true Forest of Einnashe which appears every fifty years, a Child of Einnashe appears only once and after squandering all of its stored up magical energy in one showing, it dies.[2][3]
Personality[]
Just like its parent, the Child of Einnashe only attacks and reacts based on instinct.
Appearance[]
Deviating from its parent, the Child of Einnashe appearing in Lord El-Melloi II Case Files is a snow-covered forest.[4]
Role[]
Lord El-Melloi II Case Files[]
The Mystic Eyes Collection Train Rail Zeppelin was forcefully rerouted to enter a Child of Einnashe where it then came to a stop. Mages that attempted to burn down the forest were killed by the trees.[1][4] Gray, Melvin Weins, Yvette L. Lehrman, and Karabo Frampton entered the forest to attempt to get Rail Zeppelin moving by activating leylines.[2][5]
By using Rail Zeppelin and the Child of Einnashe together, and linking the leylines between them with the ones in Fuyuki City and the Greater Grail, Doctor Heartless was able to create a fake Holy Grail and summon the Servant Faker.[6][7]
Doctor Heartless later summoned the forest with his teleportation magecraft to attack Rail Zeppelin again.[8] The employees of Rail Zeppelin and the magi aboard the train, particularly Olga Marie Animusphere, fought off the forest while Gray and Lord El-Melloi II battled Heartless and Faker atop the train.[9][7]
Abilities[]
A child of Einnashe suddenly appears like its parent, the Forest of Einnashe and after squandering all of its stored up magical energy in one showing, it dies. Yet they are smaller vampiric forests and their occurrence time is also shorter, although there are individual differences. Each child chooses a different evolutionary path than their parent. But their abilities are the same, as they are blood-sucking demonic forests, capable of disrupting the use of mana and filled with constantly sprouting tree branches that assault with the intent to kill.[3]
