The Loud House Encyclopedia

The Loud House and The Casagrandes have a series of flashbacks to events that occurred in the past off-screen. They are usually brought up by Lincoln, and on other occasions, another character will bring up a past event.

Lola reveals that she knew about Lincoln's Noise-B-Gone earbuds, told the other sisters, and got them to join in her scare tactic.
"Overnight Success" Lincoln tells about his sisters' past sleepovers and how they forbade any future sleepovers. First, at Lynn's sleepover, she played soccer in the house and kicked the ball through a window.
Next, at Leni's sleepover, she and her friends plugged in so many hairdryers and curling irons that it caused a neighborhood blackout.
Lastly, at Luna's sleepover, she performed a concert for her guests, and Chunk kicked Lynn Sr. out because he wasn't on the guest list.
Lincoln tells how he convinced his parents to let him have a sleepover.
"Hand-Me-Downer" Lincoln recalls all the times his older sisters handed down some of their old belongings to him. Leni gave him a shirt that didn't even fit him...

"Making the Grade" Lisa explains to Lincoln why she moved to his class: Kindergarten was a waste of her time, with her interrupting the class counting monkeys in a book while working on a cure for strep throat.
Lisa performed laser surgery on her eyes the previous night.
"Vantastic Voyage" Rita explains that Vanzilla was given to Lynn Sr. by his father...

"The Whole Picture" Lori recalls Lincoln's seventh birthday party. In it, he pulled a live rabbit out of a magician's hat, which freaked him out.
Luna and Luan recall Lincoln's sixth birthday party at the bowling alley, where Lincoln got a strike after he got his fingers stuck in a bowling ball.
Luan recalls the time when Lincoln got into their mother's make-up when he was a baby.
Lori recalls the time when Lincoln tried to climb the shelves to get at the cookie jar, but slipped and got his pants caught in the door handle.
"Frog Wild" Lana made a film about her friendship with Hops.

"White Hare" Lincoln reminds his sisters of how they tried to help him get together with Ronnie Anne, and how it resulted in him getting a black eye.

Note: This was the first flashback to be of a previous episode, in this case "Heavy Meddle".

"Selfie Improvement" Lori explains to Leni that Carol has a reputation of upstaging her (Lori) in nearly everything she does. This includes selling more cookies than her when they were Bluebell Scouts...
...when she beat her out during homecoming...
...and when she won a golf tournament.
"Pipe Dreams" Rita explains that having a bathroom all to herself and her husband is a bad idea, and proves this by bringing up the time they bought an adjustable bed for themselves, and the kids played on it, destroying it in mere seconds.
"Head Poet's Anxiety" Luan tells Lucy her story of her road to success. When she was young, she started out by hosting the birthday party for the family pets (which resulted in Charles peeing on her shoe).
When she tried to do her stuff in public at the local bowling alley, everybody hated her performance, and proceeded to throw curly fries at her.
When Luan explains that she still had a lot to learn about comedy, she enrolled at a clowning academy, and once she graduated...
...she started her own clowning business: Funny Business, Inc.
"The Mad Scientist" When Lisa couldn't zip up her footie pajamas, she remembers how Leni would do that for her.
Later, when Lisa has trouble falling asleep, she remembers how Lori would read a story to Lily to make her fall asleep, and Lisa, listening in, would fall asleep as well.
"Deal Me Out" Lincoln and Clyde remember that they have gotten too big for their costumes.
Lincoln and Clyde remember how their love for Ace Savvy was what brought them together.
cetner Later, when it was shown that Lincoln and Clyde still love Ace Savvy, they brought up memories of how their love of the franchise highlighted some of their best moments together. First, they were trying to figure out who tracked mud in the house. They examined Charles...

...and Lana, who was the real culprit.
Second, Clyde was helping Lincoln fix his broken Ace Savvy action figure.
Lastly, the two told Lynn Sr. that Cliff ate the bologna, and Lynn Sr. congratulated them for solving the case.
"Friendzy" A majority of the episode is one big flashback, as the episode is about Lincoln explaining to the viewers on how he and his sisters got to their current situation in the present.
"Gown and Out" When Lola said that she wanted to skip out on the pageant out of fear on losing, Lori brings up the time where she had the same feeling as Lola. She states that she almost skipped out on homecoming out of fear that she wouldn't win the title of homecoming queen. Nonetheless, she sucked it up, and went anyway.
However, as Lori predicted, she didn't win homecoming queen, as Carol Pingrey was crowned instead...
...but Lori says she's glad that she went, because if she hadn't come, she would've missed out on a fun night with Bobby.
"What Wood Lincoln Do?" Clyde brings up the time when he had to be taken to the hospital after trying to inflate balloons by himself, despite his fear of them.
"Crimes of Fashion" Leni tells Lincoln and Clyde about the moment she got fired from Reiningers.
"Sitting Bull" Lori, Leni, Luna, and Luan bring up the times they babysat for the Fox quintuplets, who were a nightmare for them. Lori remembers when they pelted her with toys behind the couch.
Leni remembers when they locked her out of the house on a rainy night.
Luan remembers when they dumped a bucket of water on her when she was napping.
Luna remembers when they trashed the toilet.
Lynn tells her older sisters on how she managed to get the Fox quintuplets to behave. First, she says that if they ever go crazy, she will go ten times crazier.
Second, she would tire them out with athletic competition (a game of tug-of-war in this case).
Lastly, if they ever behaved, she would give them a horseback ride.
"Middle Men" Lynn tells Lincoln and Clyde some advice about how to get around middle school. She advises them not to use maps, telling them the story about the time a sixth grader was purposely misled by eighth graders after asking where to go...
...which resulted in the student getting lost in the tunnels of the school.
Second, Lynn tells them that during homeroom, they should go for the best desk there is, telling them the story about the time a sixth grader got the worst desk there was, and she was so stuck...
...the school cook had to grease her to get her out.
Lastly, Lynn tells them to never own up to a mistake, telling them the story about the time a sixth grader was laughed at for farting during a standardized test, and was infamously nicknamed "Farty McStink Pants".
However, it turns out...
...all of the stories Lynn told...
...were actually about her, explaining that her first year of middle school was a horrible experience.
"The Loudest Thanksgiving" A majority of the episode is one big flashback, as the episode is about Flip telling the viewers the events that led up to where the episode is currently set at the moment (Lori and Bobby leaving their families to celebrate at his store).
Bobby tells Lori about the Thanksgiving he, Ronnie Anne and Maria would spend in the hospital cafeteria, where Maria (covered in cranberry sauce) made Bobby faint after thinking she was covered in blood.
"Driving Ambition" When Lori has trouble holding her putter due to sweaty hands, Lynn tells her the story of when she had a similar problem. During a championship game, Lynn had to make the winning dunk during a tiebreaker, but because she was sweating so much, she couldn't hold onto the ball. She discovered that she had a bottle of talcum powder with her, and used that to dry to her hands enough to hold onto the ball, and give her team the winning dunk.
When Lori has trouble staying still, Luna tells her the story of when she had a similar problem. During a recital, Luna had the jitters, and needed a way to stay calm. She accomplishes this by reciting a personal mantra. With her jitters gone, Luna was able to play the harp without setbacks.
When Lori takes note on her rapid heartbeat and needing a way to slow it down, Lola tells her the story of when she had a similar problem. During the Little Miss Cheese Curd pageant, Lola had an incredibly racing heart. She combats this with a breathing technique called 4-7-8 (breathe in for four seconds, hold it for seven seconds, and breathe out for eight seconds). With her heartbeat slowed down, Lola was able to perform without getting too nervous.
"Home of the Fave" Lynn Sr. recounts a time when he wanted his father to hang out with him.
But his father left right after he asked.
"The Write Stuff" Lucy tells her mom that Principal Huggins is the runner of the writing club, whose "fundamentals before fun" approach, which includes lecturing about apostrophes...
...assigning the students a writing assignment about semicolons...
...and teaching the proper way of holding a pencil, all bore the students, including Lucy.
"Racing Hearts" Lori tells Lynn that the reason she (Lynn) got banned from attending the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest was because she roughhoused too much.
"Antiqued Off" Clyde remembers him and Lincoln going antiquing the previous year.
Lincoln realizes that while he enjoyed the last Amazing Brailster magic show, Clyde did not, where he (Clyde) was nervous, and ran out when he saw his shirt end up as part of the magician's handkerchief trick.
After realizing how good a friend Clyde is, Lincoln realizes that he lied to Clyde to get out of antiquing.
"Cooked!" The family's not-so-easy journey to opening up Lynn's Table is shown. First, they had to find a building for sale, with a decrepit seafood restaurant the best they could find.
Once the place was purchased, they pitched in to fix it up, with Lynn handling demolition...
...Lana fixing up the restrooms...
...and Lisa helping Lynn Sr. get ready for health inspection.
After fixing up the restaurant, Lynn Sr. needed to find employees. A dinner theater actress named Mrs. Bernardo...
...an irresponsible teen...
...and Mr. Grouse (who only came to tell Lynn Sr. that Charles took a dump in his yard) were candidates, but were rejected.
Eventually, Kotaro and Grant were chosen.
Lastly, Lynn Sr. needed his family to taste test the food and give detailed points about them, but they were unable to resist the food's beauty, and gobbled it all up without hesitation.

Season Four

Hector reveals that once had stage fright for the same reason as Ronnie Anne.
"Pranks for the Memories with the Casagrandes" One of Ronnie Anne's attempts to bond with Carlota was by using a photo filter that made her into an elder...
...and the results were not pretty.
"Recipe for Disaster" Lynn Sr. and Mildred explain to Lincoln and Clyde that they actually know each other, since Mildred was his home-ed teacher who taught him everything he knows about cooking.
"Present Tense" The kids decided to get their father a glass dolphin, since he swam with one named Kenny...
...only to reconsider when the porpoise (mistaken for a dolphin by the kids) also stole his wallet.
"Can't Hardly Wait" Lynn Sr. remembers a time when a younger Lori was asking him which shirt she should wear.

Lastly, all three recount how she wants them to hurry up when unpacking the boxes while also telling them not to damage them.
"Tails of Woe" Zach tells his friends the story of the Rat Beast. One night, a lab experiment went wrong and it caused the three lab rats in the lab at the time...
...to mutate into one monstrous entity with glowing eyes and many tails.
When it turns out that the Rat Beast is not the monster the gang was expecting, Norm tells them the real story. Ten years ago, while he was cleaning up in the lab room...
...he unknowingly left the supply closet open and when Cinnamon (the real name of the Rat Beast) attempted to climb up the shelves to get a bag of corn chips, he got into an accident that led to his mutated appearance.
"Last Loud on Earth" The dads explain there was a storm and that they were trying to find the boys.
"Exchange of Heart" Clyde explains to Lincoln how Cleopawtra and Nepurrtiti are natural born hunters by bringing up the time they destroyed his fathers' pair of bunny slippers.
When Clyde discovers the note his dads left and their suitcases missing, he suddenly thinks about a joking comment he made two nights ago where he suggested that they should travel to Brazil to visit Tiago.
"Community Disservice" Meli explains to Lola that she first found out about her during recess, where she heard her telling a story.
"House Flip" When Rita sees that the kids have dented Vanzilla for the fourth time, she brings up the past three incidents. The first incident involved backing the van into another vehicle at a green light.
The second incident involved backing the van into the Burpin' Burger sign.
The third incident involved backing the van into a chicken coop, as there was a chicken in the van.
"On Thin Ice" The Loud family bring up the times how Lynn's superstitious attitude is a major annoyance during hockey games. They first bring up how Lynn brought along stinky-smelling jellyfish.
Next, they bring up how Lynn obnoxiously dances in front of Lana and Lola with their bodies being completely painted red and yellow.
Finally, they bring up how Lynn made Lori do the jellyfish dance, and got her completely humiliated when her actions were played on the jumbo-screens.
"Snoop's On" From Luna's diary, Lincoln, Leni and Luan read that Luna had once ditched school.
Later, Lincoln reads that she got a tattoo.
Then Luan reads that Luna snuck out to a club.
In the end, Luna explains through flashbacks that she actually knew they were reading her diary and that she was just messing with them.
"Friends in Dry Places" Lincoln flashes back to what Lynn had warned him about how he and his friends will slowly drift apart once they get to Middle School...

Second, he brings up the Mass Hairwaxing Disaster. However, Lincoln is too traumatized to show it, so he instead plays the audio.
Lastly, he brings up the time when she got the house floating down the Kalamazoo River.
"Hurl, Interrupted" Lynn remembers what caused her nausea.
"Electshunned" Leni says that because of her internship with Mayor Davis, she learned how to fix a copier (however, her method of "fixing" the copier, which ran out of toner, was by adding toner makeup and lipstick to it).
"Much Ado About Noshing" Kotaro explained when he asked Flip can he get him a free refill, he had big pipes running from the dispenser into his car.
"Camped!" Lynn Sr. explains all the great times he had with his dad at Camp Mastodon. It's where he learned to run...

"Frame on You" Girl Jordan explains the reason why she framed Rusty. The two were home ec partners, and their final project was baking a sponge cake...
...but Rusty bumped into the oven and opened the door, accidentally causing Girl Jordan's cake to sink and go flat...
...then Mr. Bolhofner gave her an F grade.
In retaliation, Girl Jordan pulled off all the stops to disguise herself as Rusty, such as renting the same white suit Rusty wears to every school event...
