Primal igniters are a primal zerg strain evolved from primal roaches. After the roach was assimilated by the primal zerg of Zerus, they evolved the ability to become igniters.[1]
Compared to primal roaches, igniters have more HP, armor, damage, and have a splash attack, but have less range. Their splash attack also isn't particularly effective against ranged units, and is better suited to hitting melee units that attack the igniters.[3]

Buries the unit underground. Burrowed unit are unable to move or attack, but they cannot be seen without detection.
