Summer Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Summer Chao have red pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating indigo orb above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Summer Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity, it could be obtained from the first Vending Machine in Hill Top Zone, labeled "UP TO EPIC." It costs 8,000,000 Rings per attempt at a 6.0% chance each.

In gameplay, Summer Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Summer Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Summer Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Summer Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Summer Chao by collecting five Summer Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Summer Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Summer Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
