Gift Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Gift Chao have light pink, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, white tipped arms, head points and feet, pink spots on their bellies, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Gift Chao is a limited collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It could be unlocked by collecting 10,000 Gifts during the "Birthday Bash Event!". Alternatively, the player could buy them for 299 Robux during the same event.

In gameplay, Gift Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Gift Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Gift Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Gift Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Gift Chao by collecting five Gift Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Gift Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Gift Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
