Evergreen Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Evergreen Chao have pale green pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear a two-part Christmas tree outfit. The lower part covers their whole torso and looks like an undecorated evergreen tree. The top part, which they wear on their head, has red and blue ornaments on it as well as a start on the top, and it is also slightly more conical in shape than the part of the costume on their torso.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Evergreen Chao is a collectible pet of the "Seasonal" rarity. It could be bought from Tails' Winter Workshop for 300 candy canes each during the Gotta Snow Fast event from the 23rd of December 2022 to the 14th of January 2023.

In gameplay, Evergreen Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Evergreen Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Evergreen Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Evergreen Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Evergreen Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Evergreen Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Evergreen Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also increase the luck of the user, making them more likely to get rarer outcomes from vending machines and enchantment shrines.
