Neon Lime Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Neon Lime Chao have neon lime pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large blue eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Neon Lime Chao is a collectible pet of the "Rare" rarity, formerly of the "Epic" rarity before the Reborn update. It could be unlocked by collecting 3,000 Mysterious Orbs or paying 299 Robux during the "Metal Madness Event". Alternatively, the player could buy them at a display model in Green Hill for 1,000,000 Rings during the same event.

In gameplay, Neon Lime Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Neon Lime Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Neon Lime Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Neon Lime Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Neon Lime Chao by collecting five Neon Lime Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Neon Lime Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Neon Lime Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
