Jewel Ruby Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Jewel Ruby Chao have pink, jewel-looking, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Jewel Ruby Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the pink vending machine in Emerald Hill. When purchasing from that vending machine, the player has a 13% chance of getting a Jewel Ruby Chao.

In gameplay, Jewel Ruby Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Jewel Ruby Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Jewel Ruby Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Jewel Ruby Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Jewel Ruby Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Jewel Ruby Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Jewel Ruby Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
