This article is about a/an Zords in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. |
The Cosmic Fury Zords were the Zord system of the Cosmic Fury Rangers.
Overview[]
Believed to be as ancient as the cosmos themselves, these machines that resemble various constellations were said to be the ultimate power in the universe as they existed beyond the reach of both good and evil. Countless eons later, the altar where they rest becomes a battlefront in a long-deferred war for control of the weapons and thus control of all known galaxies.
Appearances: CF Episodes 1-2, 4-7, 9
History[]
The Cosmic Fury Zords were released from an altar on Zordnia with the aid of the Master Staff. The core Zords were later modified so any Ranger could deploy any Zord using remote linking tech, eliminating the need for specific Ranger energies when the team was reconnected with the Morphin Grid. This system features multiple configurations, all of which do not appear to have specific names, but rather form according to the tools needed at the time of their summoning.
All the Zords were later destroyed by Lord Zedd after he absorbed the powers of the Morphin Masters.
With over 3,000 possible combinations based on the Cosmic Lion Zord alone, the system most likely would have been the most versatile to be used by a Ranger team in any series; however, only a few formations are ever seen due to the constraints of the story and the sourced footage.

Notes[]
- The Cosmic Fury Megazord is the first Megazord to not have a confirmed main combination, as the main combination in its Super Sentai counterpart consisted of the Cosmic Lion, Wolf, Bull, Chameleo, and Shark Zords. In the first episode of Cosmic Fury, the first combination consisted of the aforementioned Zords, with the Cosmic Bull Zord swapped with the Cosmic Cobra Zord. However, the toy release of the Megazord features the former combination, while the remaining Zords in the fleet (Scorpion, Cobra, Eagle, Grizzly, Dragon, and unnamed Gold Zord) have not currently been released or revealed as of yet.
- Unlike its counterpart, the Cosmic Shark Zord is based on a shark instead of a swordfish. According to Simon Bennett, this change was made per the request of Hasbro for reasons unknown.[21]
- Due to the short length of the series, several Voyagers from Kyuranger were not used in Cosmic Fury. These voyagers include the Houou Voyager, Orion Voyager, Kojishi Voyager, and the Cerberus Voyager.
- The unnamed Gold Zord was only used in a formation for the Cosmic Dragon Megazord, but never for the Cosmic Fury Megazord itself though this isn't the case in the Sentai. Also the unnamed Gold Zord is the only Zord to not have an official name.
- Due to The Unused zords Not making an Appearance, Kyutamajin was never used for Cosmic Fury as a megazord
