A samurai from the east. His legendary skill meant no one in his homeland would challenge him, which led to a life of unending boredom. He came to the castle after hearing rumors of a place brimming with talented, deadly fighters.

Episode 1
The Wanderer
Musashi: HEED MY CALL!
Cleo: Whoever that is, they are VERY loud.
Euden: Sounds like it's coming from outside. Let's go take a look.
Euden: ...Huh. That must be our guy. I wonder what he wants?
Musashi: Someone answers my call! What joy!
Musashi: I feared my challenge might go unheard.
Cleo: I wouldn't worry on that score—it's likely your voice was heard across the continent. Now, what is your business here?
Musashi: I come here to... Ah!
Musashi: You there! He of the pale mane!
Euden: Um...is he talking about me?
Musashi: You must be the famous seventh scion, Prince Euden!
Musashi: Yet I see none of the expected spirit in your eyes.
Musashi: You lack the features of a warrior who would lead an army into battle.
Cleo: Did you come here to pick a fight with us? ...Because it's working.
Musashi: My humble apologies.
Musashi: That was most discourteous.
Musashi: I came not to start a quarrel, but to join one.
Cleo: What are you talking about?
Musashi: Bold Prince Euden! My name is Musashi, and I would beg leave to be counted among your ranks!
Euden: Er, you're offering to help us fight?
Musashi: Just so!
Musashi: After mastering the art of the blade, ordinary combat no longer permits me to hone my skills.
Musashi: Thus am I currently on a journey seeking battles that will push me to my limits— nay, to the very brink of death itself!
Musashi: I heard tell this was one such place, and so I made for you with all speed.
Musashi: Yet what do I find but a collection of rabble lacking in strength among both servant and leader alike!
Musashi: Ha ha ha! I like this place already!
Cleo: He's definitely trying to pick a fight.
Cleo: We should send him back to... wherever he came from.
Euden: We'd be happy to have you join us, Musashi.
Musashi: Such a swift decision! I can see why the people of this stronghold named you as leader.
Musashi: Still, I had expected you to be slightly more suspicious of me...
Musashi: Ha ha! What an unusual fellow you are!
Musashi: I deeply apologize for my many discourteous statements.
Musashi: Whenever I speak my mind plain, I annoy all around me.
Musashi: But I now see you have the strength of character to accept my words with grace.
Musashi: I expect to enjoy many battles under you!
Cleo: If you're aware that you are being rude, perhaps you should work on... not being that.
Euden: Er...ha?
Euden: It's good to have you on board, Musashi. I look forward to seeing what you can do.
Musashi: You shall never know disappointment!
Musashi: No matter how insurmountable the ordeal may seem, I shall cleave us a path!
Episode 2
The Sheathed Second Blade
Ranzal: Well, THAT was an exhaustin' day. I ain't ever seen so many fiends!
Musashi: They had numbers yet lacked all skill. Slaying them served no purpose in terms of my training.
Musashi: I came here to experience battles that might warrant the drawing of my second blade yet have slain nothing but mewling curs unworthy of the title of quarry.
Euden: Now that you mention it, I guess you do walk around with a second blade.
Euden: Why don't you use it in battle?
Euden: I've only ever seen you fighting with one.
Musashi: Ha ha ha!
Musashi: An excellent observation, even if it comes pitifully late in the day.
Musashi: I am a samurai skilled in the art of dual wielding.
Ranzal: Now THERE'S a rarity.
Ranzal: I've seen a few samurai in my time, but never a dual-wieldin' one.
Musashi: And yet it is both blessing and curse, for if ever I make use of the second blade, my victory is assured.
Musashi: That makes combat a tedious, predictable affair, and also prevents me from becoming stronger.
Euden: So you deliberately give yourself a handicap by fighting with just the one?
Musashi: I seek only two things: to reach ever greater heights in my swordsmanship, and to find battles that enthrall my soul!
Musashi: Only by getting as close as humanly possible to the brink of death can I hope to reach these lofty heights!
Musashi: That is my reasoning.
Ranzal: Yer a warrior through and through. I like it!
Euden: But doesn't that mean that you can't afford to make even a single mistake?
Euden: It's rather worrying to think one of my men is so close to the brink of death.
Musashi: Ha ha ha! Concern yourself not!
Musashi: Should I find myself face-to-face with a foe I deem capable of taking my life, I will draw my second blade!
Musashi: With both blades in my hands, I, Musashi, can never be defeated!
Ranzal: Bwa ha ha ha! I LOVE THIS GUY!
Ranzal: Yer the world's number-one samurai for sure!
Musashi: Ha ha ha! We are much alike, my friend!
Musashi: This gives me an idea. Tonight, we—
Ranzal: Sit around and talk like men?
Ranzal: Bring it on, brother!
Musashi: There isn't a moment to waste!
Ranzal: Let's get back to the castle!
Musashi & Ranzal: Ha ha ha!
Euden: Er, I'd still rather you didn't put yourself in more danger than you have to...
Musashi: Join us, Euden! Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may all know the cold embrace of death!
Musashi: But tonight, we talk until the morrow!
Euden: What?! I didn't sign up for this!
Episode 3
A Surprising Nemesis
Musashi: Hum de dum...
Euden: Are you heading out, Musashi?
Musashi: Ah! You arrive at the perfect time.
Musashi: If you find yourself free, what say you to accompanying me for a short while?
Euden: I suppose I don't have any pressing plans. What do you have in mind?
Musashi: Why, a duel of course! Come!
Euden: ...I figured we were going to be fighting, but you actually want me to fish with you?
Musashi: Correct! We shall engage in the mortal duel between ourselves and the denizens of the deep, with our very lives on the line!
Euden: I don't know if I'd go that far.
Musashi: Ha ha ha! Just so.
Musashi: But this remains a serious battle with real consequences.
Musashi: If the fish are caught, they will be eaten. If they escape, I will starve.
Musashi: Thus do lives hang ever in the balance.
Musashi: Now...let the battle commence!
Musashi: Ha ha ha! A fine catch!
Euden: That's a lot of fish. You have a real talent for this kind of thing.
Musashi: With blade or rod in my hand, I am a force to be reckoned with! Yet with all else, I am useless.
Musashi: With housework and cooking in particular, I would do more damage than good.
Cleo: THERE you two are.
Cleo: What do you think you're doing sitting here instead of helping out at the castle?
Cleo: Stop being lazy and do some work.
Euden: W-well, we weren't exactly being lazy out here so much as—
Musashi: He speaks the truth! Behold!
Cleo: That is...a large amount of fish. Where did they come from?
Musashi: Given how useless I am at housework, I thought to contribute in my own way. Thus did I slay these for our dinner!
Cleo: Well. That's...actually quite helpful.
Cleo: But I'll have trouble getting this many ready all on my own, so I'll need the two of you to chip in.
Euden: I'd be happy to, but...
Musashi: If that I could!
Musashi: Yet cooking and cleaning are foes too great even for me. I beseech you to grant me the honor of a swift refusal!
Cleo: Have you forgotten what you're always saying to us?
Cleo: "Combat where I win too easily is a dull affair—true enjoyment comes from taking on a foe most difficult!"
Musashi: Er...
Cleo: If you see housework as a difficult foe, you should give your all to vanquishing it.
Musashi: I...I am bested.
Musashi: Very well! I shall do what I must!
Musashi: I can think of no worthier opponent than cooking or cleaning. Let the battle begin!
Episode 4
The Battle He Longed For
Bandit A: Oi! Where'd that fool prince run off to?!
Bandit B: Little sneak can't 'ave gotten far! Find 'im, boys!
Bandit B: If we catch 'im, life's gonna be grand for a good long while!
Ranzal: Damn... That's a lot'a guys.
Ranzal: I wouldn't care so much, 'cept that we're all exhausted from fightin' them fiends back there.
Euden: Leave it to bandits to show up when we're fresh off another fight.
Euden: We need to get back to the castle. But how?
Ranzal: The longer we sit here yappin' about it, the quicker they're gonna find us.
Euden: Right then. I'll hold them off here. You take the others and retreat to the castle.
Ranzal: That's a terrible plan!
Ranzal: I ain't leavin' ya here!
Euden: Well, someone has to draw their attention, or we're ALL done for.
Musashi: Leave all to me!
Musashi: Nothing gives me more joy than fighting off the innumerable hordes!
Euden: This is no time to be enjoying yourself!
Musashi: Heed me well, Euden— Nay, LORD Euden.
Musashi: You are the general of this fighting force. Your duty during a retreat must be to take command.
Musashi: Now hurry everyone from this place!
Euden: M-Musashi!
Musashi: Fear not, Lord Euden.
Musashi: I am more than capable of dealing with meager foes like these unaided.
Bandit A: Bwa ha ha! You ain't seen all of us, fancypants! Don't get so full'a yerself!
Musashi: Is that so...?
Musashi: Haaa ha ha ha! I can hardly contain my excitement! THIS is the battle that I have so long been searching for!
Musashi: Now come forth! Let the delights begin!
Euden: ...Musashi? ...Musashi! Where are you?! I've brought reinforcements!
Ranzal: Musashi! Say somethin'!
Elisanne: Musashiiiii! Where are you?!
Musashi: Y-you're...all right...
Euden: Musashi! You're wounded! ...VERY wounded!
Musashi: I have...driven our foes hence...
Musashi: It was the first time...I've drawn my second blade in...ages... I found it... most enjoyable...
Euden: Are you okay, Musashi? ...Musashi!
Musashi: Ha ha... Seeing everyone safe... allows me to feel at ease...
Musashi: Being reunited with all of you... is a greater thrill than battle...
Musashi: Thank you...everyone...
Musashi: Your concern for me...fills me with a joy far different from the ecstasy of battle...
Euden: Stop talking and save your strength.
Euden: I'm glad you're all right this time, but don't even THINK of doing something that dangerous again.
Musashi: I will...attend to your words... in my dreams...
Episode 5
Better Than the Brink of Death
Euden: That's another big haul today.
Musashi: Indeed. Now that my injuries have healed, I have returned to fighting form.
Euden: You really did overdo it in that last fight.
Euden: There aren't many people crazy enough to take on that many foes alone.
Musashi: It was a most tremendous battle. However...
Musashi: I realize now how I caused great inconvenience while my injuries mended.
Musashi: For that, I am truly remorseful.
Musashi: In turn, you all came to my room to tend my wounds and watch over me. I had not a single moment alone.
Euden: Don't worry about it. If you hadn't taken on those bandits, we'd all have been in a world of hurt.
Euden: Thank you for risking your life for us.
Musashi: Think nothing of it. They were pitiful foes— they were simply too numerous.
Musashi: And as you know well, when I draw my second blade, I lose to no one.
Musashi: Yet in the future, I feel it may be best to keep my battlejoy at a level where it causes no inconvenience for you.
Musashi: The look of horror on your face at my wounds has made me reconsider such things, I fear.
Euden: Yeah, we'd appreciate that.
Euden: But if we find ourselves surrounded by that many enemies again, I'm going to stay and fight by your side.
Musashi: Even though such a thing might lead to your death?
Euden: Of course! If a friend is still fighting, I'm not going to turn my back on them.
Musashi: That is not a fight for a general.
Musashi: You should leave battles where the odds of defeat are overwhelmingly high to eccentrics such as myself.
Euden: Well, I guess that makes me an eccentric, too.
Euden: Because there's nothing I wouldn't do for my friends—no matter how dangerous.
Musashi: ...I am without words.
Musashi: You truly are a strange fellow, Lord Euden.
Euden: I don't think you've got any right to talk about strange fellows, Musashi.
Musashi: Ha ha. Just so. Still...friends, you say?
Musashi: I find that word exceedingly pleasant.
Musashi: Until this moment, I have always believed that mastering the art of the sword was all I needed in life.
Musashi: I had little interest in anything else.
Musashi: But since arriving at your citadel and meeting all who reside within, I have learned what it is to fight for others.
Musashi: I now realize that I enjoy returning from battle and celebrating that victory with my companions more than pushing myself to the very brink of death alone.
Musashi: So, Lord Euden... From now on, I will swing my blades not just for my own enjoyment, but to aid you in your battles!
Euden: Thank you, Musashi.
Euden: So long as you're with us, I don't feel like we can lose.
Musashi: I will ensure that all who challenge you meet their end on my blades!
Musashi: For if I use them both, none can stand against me! Ha ha ha ha!
