Portal

It depends on which method is used to open the portal to a realm, the way to get there is faster or slower, since if one were to use the Traveler's Tea or the Realm Crystal, a portal will open, thus allowing one to pass without difficulty, whereas if a dragon or with a Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, it takes time to arrive at the desired realm.
Dragons have the ability to create portals that allow them to travel between realms. This was demonstrated in "Weapons of Destiny", "Lessons for a Master", "Green and Gold" (Lloyd's dream) and "Endings" (Faith's flashback). Dragons can create portals to travel between realms and from one place to another or to direct their attacks.
The Manifestation Gate was used as a portal.
