Crashcourse Canyon (also referred to as the Scattered Canyon[1]) is a vast, rugged canyon in Ninjago.
History[]
Day of the Great Devourer[]
When Pythor awakened (and was consumed by) the Great Devourer, the ninja fled to the Destiny's Bounty. With the Great Devourer in pursuit, Nya turned towards Crashcourse Canyon in an attempt to lose it. The ship narrowly made it to the canyon after the ninja threw most of their belongings overboard, although this also allowed the Great Devourer to grow even bigger than before when it consumed the items.
With the cover of the rocks in the canyon, Nya evaded the Great Devourer for a while. However, the monstrous snake used the canyon to its advantage, striking the Destiny's Bounty in a sneak attack. Forced to abandon their ship, the ninja and Nya fled the canyon and took shelter in a nearby cave as the Great Devourer consumed the Destiny's Bounty.
Ninjaball Run[]
When the ninja entered the annual Ninjaball Run to save Dareth's Mojo Dojo, they found themselves returning to Crashcourse Canyon in the first leg of the race. Captain Soto's pirates became the first casualty of the race when their van crashed outside the canyon after being rammed by Brad and Gene's modified Darkley's bus.
As the competitors drove through Crashcourse Canyon, Lord Garmadon joined the race aboard the Black Bounty in an attempt to stop the ninja from winning the money they needed to save the dojo. His first attempt was thwarted when Lloyd accidentally bumped into the Black Bounty with the Ultra Dragon, causing the Serpentine manning the cannon to miss the ninja's Ultra Sonic Raider.
Shadow of Ronin (non-canon)[]
The ninja passed through Crashcourse Canyon while heading to Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk.
