Deep Tissue Memories is the fourth episode of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic mini-series Friendship is Forever. It is the fourth of six[1] clip show episodes that feature footage from previous episodes.
In this episode, Rainbow Dash reminisces about her past moments of loyalty (and awesomeness) with Twilight Sparkle at the Ponyville Day Spa.

This episode aired on 9Go! and was released on the 9Now on-demand service in Australia on May 11, 2020. It also aired on PLUSPLUS in Ukraine on July 23, 2021. The episode currently remains unreleased on U.S. television channels or streaming services.
Summary[]
The episode begins with Starlight Glimmer, Spike, and Rainbow Dash outside the Ponyville Day Spa. With Twilight Sparkle so busy preparing for her upcoming coronation, Starlight and Spike convince Rainbow to "accidentally" run into her at the spa so that they can collect more memories for the magical scrapbook. When Twilight enters the spa and runs into Rainbow, Rainbow initiates a conversation about the day they first met.
Rainbow tries to play off her presence at the spa, but Twilight knows that she secretly loves getting spa treatments and also mentions Rainbow's other non-sporty interests like reading and playing pranks. When Twilight says she wants to decompress from coronation preparations by herself, Rainbow Dash is about to leave, but Starlight Glimmer and Spike stop her and say they need even more memories for Rainbow's section of the scrapbook.
Rainbow Dash joins Twilight's full-body soak, interrupting her alone time, and starts reminiscing about her times of awesomeness, like spending time with Gilda, leading the Pegasus team during Winter Wrap Up, helping the Ponyville team qualify for the Equestria Games, confronting a giant dragon, and saving Rarity by performing a sonic rainboom. Twilight asks if Rainbow remembers any quieter, more emotional moments, and Rainbow recalls her heartbreak when Tank had to hibernate for the winter. When Twilight and Rainbow disagree on which is more relaxing, Twilight goes off on her own to relax in her own way. Starlight and Spike appear before Rainbow Dash again and urge her to collect even more memories.
In the spa's massage area, Twilight lays on a massage table and starts receiving a massage from one of the spa ponies. During this, Twilight recalls some times when Rainbow Dash was a lot to handle, like when she orchestrated a poorly-executed stunt to overcome an embarrassing nickname and went overboard with her pranks. Despite this, she loves Rainbow dearly and considers her the most loyal pony in Equestria.
It is revealed that the spa pony giving Twilight a massage is Rainbow Dash herself, and she is moved to tears by Twilight's heartfelt words, prompting further reminiscing of when Rainbow taught Twilight how to fly and Twilight taught Rainbow to appreciate the interests of others. Despite her spa day not going how she planned, Twilight says she enjoyed reminiscing on old times with Rainbow Dash. As Rainbow jokes about being a spa pony as a backup career, Starlight Glimmer and Spike sneak away, having now collected enough memories.

- Rainbow Dash: I suppose it's okay to like different kinds of things.
- Twilight Sparkle: Exactly. I'm not only a princess, and you're not only an athlete.
- Rainbow Dash: Hey, where are you going? I can think of a ton more epic relaxing moments!
- Twilight Sparkle: It's pretty hard not to love a loyal friend like that.
- Rainbow Dash: [crying]
- Twilight Sparkle: Are you okay?
- Rainbow Dash: [sobs] I-I'm fine, but... I love you, too!
- Rainbow Dash: It's good to know I can always fall back on a career as a spa pony if the Wonderbolts don't work out.
- Twilight Sparkle: [laughs] I wouldn't go that far.
