The book comes in a slipcover with a shooting Star-Lord, a blasting Rocket and an angry Groot on the frontcover. On the backcover both Gamora and Drax are having blades out, a little to the back is the Milano also displayed. On the cover of the book itself, Star-Lord wears his helmet and holds in one hand the Orb and his gun in the other hand. To his side an armed Rocket, both of them are standing at a market in Knowhere. The backcover seems to be a spacestation wall with windows, with one window showing a purple alien discussing at a table with a fat punker alien. In the other window, a green alien mineworker is resting. The book features artwork of aliens, outer world, spaceships and all the main characters from the film Guardians of the Galaxy.
