The Kidnapping of Hunter C-20 was the abduction by Sylvie Laufeydottir of Minutemen agent Hunter C-20, due to the location of the Time-Keepers.

Background[]

Sylvie Laufeydottir caused multiple attacks on Time Variance Authority members to further her goals of destroying the organization, and decided to travel to 1985 in order to ambush the Minutemen once more, using her collected Reset Charges to lure them there.

A group of Minutemen, led by Hunter C-20, traveled to 1985 once they noticed the branching timeline. They were noticed by one of the fairgoers, who questioned their appearance, though the Minutemen ignored her and went towards a tent where Sylvie was located. Suddenly, the tent's sound effects came on as the Minutemen prepared themselves. From behind, Sylvie enchanted C-20, using her to attack the Minutemen.^[1]

Kidnapping[]

Using C-20, Sylvie began fighting the Minutemen, taking them down one by one. C-20 teased one of the Minutemen before collapsing to the ground as the Minuteman checked the status of C-20. From behind, Sylvie revealed herself to the Minuteman as he lunged to attack her, though he was stabbed before he could land a blow. Sylvie managed to collect the Minuteman's TemPad and his Reset Charges, using the TemPad to open a Timedoor to the Roxxcart Mall. Sylvie then pulled C-20 through the door as she made her escape.^[1]

Aftermath[]

Loki, Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a group of Minutemen arrived moments later to find what remained of the fight after Loki had been made a member in-training of the Time Variance Authority. Checking the bodies, B-15 argued that C-20 could not have been attacked so easily as they wondered what was the Variant's next actions. However, as they were about to leave the tent, Loki warned them to not leave the tent, noticing what the Variant could be doing. He explained that what B-15 was going to do was what the Variant was expecting, though B-15 did not believe it. Loki tried to reason, but Mobius did not believe it either as the timeline was pruned.^[1]
