In order to get revenge for her visiting his hometown and finding evidence that he had killed his former best friend, Gregory Sallinger sent Jessica Jones a video in which he threatened to kill a person by the end of the day. Jones showed Trish Walker the video later, but it then deleted, following its program, as explained by Dorothy.
Jones got Eddy Costa to go to Sallinger's apartment to prove that he had left, and became frustrated. She sent Sallinger a video of her destroying various items throughout his apartment. As Sallinger watched video, he reacted largely, causing attention to be drawn to him.
Sallinger sent Jones another video later that day, in which he followed a woman, threatening to kill somebody. Jones recorded the video with a separate cell phone so that she could watch it as many times as she needed.[1]
