Explore Madripoor is a promotional website released in April 2021 to promote The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The website is presented as a tourist website for Madripoor, and contains information about the sights and activities of the city, as well as offering secret features.
Features[]
Explore Madripoor[]
The first page describes the various sights of Madripoor, including Buccaneer Bay, Hightown, and Lowtown, in front of a simplified map of the city.[1]
Hightown Nightclub[]
This section discusses Hightown, specifically its dance floors and lounges. Behind the text is an image of the Madripoorian skyline at night.[1]
La PremiĂšre[]
Clicking on the arrow will give you a page about the La PremiĂšre club above a box asking for an invite code. Clicking near the top of the page will display a wanted poster for Helmut Zemo. Typing "sharoncarter" into the invite code box takes you to another screen showcasing various art pieces available for auction from Madripoor's art gallery, one of which you can bid on. Bidding on it will take you to another page, which says in the bottom left corner that shipping and handling is coordinated through the Power Broker at Buccaneer Bay. One of the art pieces is a poster for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.[1]
Book A Charter[]
The third page promotes Buccaneer Bay, touting the luxury cruises that can be booked from the bay.[1]
Closed to Visitors[]
Clicking the arrow leads you to a page saying that, as result of a fight breaking out at Buccaneer Bay, all cruises from the bay have been temporarily suspended. On the side of a crate near the bottom of the page is the logo of the Flag Smashers, which can be clicked to view the original image. The same can be done for graffiti of the Power Broker near the top of the page.
There is another box asking for a code; input "powerbroker" (hinted at by the auction page saying the Power Broker was at the bay) and you will be taken to another page, where you can input any 4-digit ID for a shipping crate in Buccaneer Bay. Inputting "4261", the number of the container that was home to Wilfred Nagel's laboratory, will provide an incident report for the fight that took place there, noting the death of Dr. Nagel. Also shown is a video of CCTV footage from the fight, and illustrations of Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, and Helmut Zemo. Inputting "1273", a series of numbers which add up to 13, will show a wanted poster for Sharon Carter, a.k.a. Agent 13.[1]
Brass Monkey Saloon[]
The fourth page advertises the Brass Monkey Saloon, accompanied by an image of Lowtown at night. On one of the walls is a wanted poster for Karli Morgenthau, which can be clicked to display the original image of the poster.
Clicking the arrow takes you to another page, showing the outside of the Brass Monkey. One man in the image is holding a phone displaying a wanted poster for Bucky Barnes, which can be clicked to view the image on its own. The same can be done for a larger wanted poster of Sam Wilson on the wall. Clicking any of the neon signs to the left of the page will show you an image of the Brass Monkey's menu. Sharon Carter can be seen near the bottom of the image, covering her face with her hands. Clicking on her will show an advert for the Hightown art auction, saying to ask for Sharon Carter at the door (this is how one would figure out the invite code for the first password box).[1]
