"Do those guys look like the guy that we have tied up on the Zephyr?"
"I see them, too, which means they're very real and here for Fitz."
"They'll have to get by me first."
―Quake and Jemma Simmons[src]

The Attack on the House of Games was a successful attempt by the Chronicom Hunters to find Leo Fitz and capture him.

Background[]

"Leopold Fitz should not be here."
"Agreed. He should be with us, back on Earth."
"Earth is where he died, over a year ago, if I'm not mistaken."
―Malachi and Jemma Simmons[src]

Learning that another version of Leo Fitz died, he was then targeted by the Chronicom Hunters so he would help them achieve time travel. When the S.H.I.E.L.D. team searching for Fitz arrived at Naro-Atzia, they were ambushed by Malachi who was sent to retrieve Fitz, however, he was taken hostage by S.H.I.E.L.D. instead. Quake and Jemma Simmons headed to Kitson in hopes to find Fitz. However, Malachi was able to escape his captivity and send a message out to the other Hunters to come to Kitson.[3]

"Sorry, boys. It's ladies' night."
―Quake[src]

Receiving a message from Malachi, a group of Chronicom Hunters arrived on Kitson and forced their way through the casino, killing the greeter. When Quake and Jemma Simmons realized that Leo Fitz was on Kitson due to them hearing a signal that was only perceptible to humans, they went to go find him, when they noticed the Hunters enter the casino. Knowing that they were there for Fitz, Quake went to stop them by using her powers.

However, due to her being disoriented by some hallucinogens she ingested earlier, she could not aim. Simmons then guided her arm and together they defeated one of the enemies. Quake then told Simmons to look for Fitz while she dealt with the Hunters. Quake, still disoriented, then went to fight off the Hunters hand-to-hand, managing to defeat them all. When Simmons finally reunited with Fitz, they were interrupted when Malachi appeared and grabbed Fitz, taking him with him.[3]

Aftermath[]

The Zephyr One's crew is cornered by the Chronicoms

"A few ramshackle modules for his games, a small dome for his brothel, and then he kept building so that I, son and grandson of Kitson, would one day have an empire. And you put all that at risk. Using a synthetic to cheat. Bringing bounty hunters in to wreak havoc at my House of Games."
―Kitson to Leo Fitz[src]

Leo Fitz was taken to the Confederate Destroyer Ship. When the Chronicom fleet cornered the Zephyr One's crew, Atarah revealed to them that Fitz was being held at gunpoint by Malachi. She then told them how they wanted to travel back in time to prevent the destruction of Chronyca-2.

Jemma Simmons revealed to Atarah that they had traveled to 2091 using a time monolith when Fitz's safety was threatened. Trying to help their species and keep his friend and Simmons safe, Enoch told Atarah that Fitz would cooperate if Simmons' life was in danger, which led to the capture of Simmons.[4]
