Egg Shot is the Special Shot performed by Birdo in Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
Description[]
To have Birdo use the move, the player must tap out a triangle on the Touch Screen twice. Birdo begins Egg Shot by spinning around twice while being surrounded by purple hearts. After spinning, Birdo catches the basketball in her snout, jumps, and spits it out as an egg toward the opposing team's basket. During this, broken hearts trail behind the egg. When the basketball lands into the basket, a puff of purple smoke appears, followed by several broken hearts. Like the other characters' respective Special Shot, if Birdo uses Egg Shot outside the three-point line, one of her teammates has to catch the ball, an egg in Birdo's case, and be the one to dunk it into the hoop.
