Mario Classic 8-4 is a location in Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
Description[]
The course itself is a direct reference to World 8-4 of Super Mario Bros., as it depicts several 8-bit-style models and textures based on the environment in Super Mario Bros.'s World 8-4.
A large, two-sided Fire Bar is in the center of the course, and if a character touches one of its coins, they lose coins and are briefly set on fire, causing them to run out of control. The course has two more Fire Bars, one of which is on the border to the direct left of the center area while the other is to the right of the center.
Like Mario Classic 1-1, there are four Warp Pipes, each located on each corner of the center area, and items cannot enter the Warp Pipes. The only two Warp Pipes that can be entered are at the bottom left and top right of the course respectively, and whichever Warp Pipe is entered transports the character to the pipe horizontally across from it.
A total of fifteen ? Panels are spread throughout Mario Classic 8-4.
In Mario Hoops 3-on-3[]
Mario Classic 8-4 is the second course of the multiplayer-exclusive mode Coin Hunters. Whoever collects the most coins within three minutes and twenty seconds wins the match.
