At the Stardust Fields, Mario handed all of their coins exactly 100 Mushroom coins (or around 100 coins) to Tolstar to help Mario and Luigi free Bowser out of the cannon. He had calculated the 100 coins thus the exchange rate to 10:1. Tolstar required Mario and Luigi to find an additional 100 Beanbean coins.

Meanwhile, Prince Peasley did a bet against Mario and Luigi to collect the most Beanstar pieces. Mario and Luigi won the bet and Prince Peasley gave them 99,999,999,999 Mushroom coins and Lady Lima calculated the exchange rate to 99 Beanbean coins that Mario and Luigi fainted. The exchange rate was a big difference which was 1,010,101,010,101:1.
