The Buccaneer Custom was added as part of the Lowriders update.
Grand Theft Auto VI[]
The car can be seen parked behind a PMP 700 outside a car meet in the Stockyard neighborhood of Vice City, in the first trailer (0:27).
In comparison to its appearance in Grand Theft Auto Online, the Buccaneer Custom now features much higher-profile tires, a center keyhole on the rear decklid, and a new pinstripe-style livery not available for the vehicle in GTA Online.

The Buccaneer Custom is a lowrider variant of the Buccaneer, where it brings only minor changes by default.
The vehicle retains its original design from the standard model, retaining the front and rear fascias. However, the car has received only minor changes, where the chrome details found around the car were removed in favour of colorable trimmings. The roof is also removed upon conversion, although it can be installed back through any mod shop. Its underside is fitted with a paintable frame and has a visible driveshaft, a different exhaust setup (dual pipes instead of a single Y-split pipe), and visible hydraulic bars connected to the suspension, replacing the dragster-like suspension setup.
Rather than the Buccaneer's two-tone color, the Buccanner Custom only features a single primary color on the body and lower frames, but makes up for it by having an interior color (which also affects the steering wheel and the seats) and a dial color. The secondary color is applied to the lower sides and the details around the lights, the trim around the windows and rear, and the rear-view mirrors. The vehicle also gets custom "Big Worm" lowrider wheels, along with white-wall tires.

The Buccaneer Custom is mostly identical to the standard Buccaneer, with the only notable difference being a lowered suspension setup, making the Buccaneer Custom feel more planted and responsive than the normal version, at the cost of having slight difficulties on curbs and bumpy roads.
Like the regular model, it has a moderately powerful V8 under the hood, with a displacement of 440 cubic inches (7.2 litres) according to the badges. It is also mated to a 5-speed gearbox and powers the rear wheels, and shares the same engine sound, having relatively high revolutions and a rather loud tone.

Steal Vehicle Cargo - Car Meet[]
There are many variations of the car that appear during the Car Meet Vehicle Cargo mission type. The same modified cars will appear each time at each specific car meet scenario, albeit with different colours and a different livery.
Buccaneer Custom 1 has an invalid rear bumper value which refers to the Buccaneer's stubby wheelie bar and so this car cannot be recreated. Buccaneer Custom 1 appears to act as a 'base' in which all other vehicles use the modifications applied to it, only changing the color and livery. It shares its color with Buccaneer Custom 7.
There is several variations of the car with the same modifications, with different colors and a different livery, each specific to each of the three car meets. They all have the same license plate text which can spawn in different colours. They all spawn with a hardtop roof. They all have stock interior colours and stock dials.
- 2 and 3 spawn at the Vinewood Boulevard car meet.
- 4 and 5 spawn at the Power Station car meet.
- 6 and 7 spawn at the Vinewood Bowl car meet.
- 7 has no colour reference and simply returns to the original model - 34
None of the cars can be stored in Personal Garages and cannot be taken to Los Santos Customs or any other mod shop.

- If the player purchases the single or triple Intake Bug Catcher hood upgrade, the player can strangely still purchase an air-filter, however, it will not show. This also applies to the Chino.
- When fitted with upgraded hydraulics, the Buccaneer Custom is capable of dragging, similar to the 3D Universe Tornado.
