What fortunate timing. We were starting to run low on prisoners. Do try to capture them alive. I won't have you robbing me of my fun!
— Danomill

Danomill (Japanese: ダノミル Danomiru) is a commander in the Daein army who fought in the Mad King's War. He was the warden of the Daein prison established in Crimea's Canteus Castle after Daein conquered Crimea, and fought Ike and the Greil Mercenaries as they infiltrated the castle to release and recruit his prisoners.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Role

Danomill is the boss of Chapter 10. He is posted in the north-western room in the map, near the escape point, and does not need to be fought to escape and clear the chapter.

Personality

Danomill is a cruel and sadistic warden who takes a disturbing pleasure from personally breaking the hope and defiance of his prisoners - the more hopeful and defiant, the better - and likes to keep his dungeon cells full of prisoners.[1] Having never had the opportunity to keep a laguz prisoner captive before, he desired to take Ike's laguz allies, Lethe and Mordecai, as prisoner as a bit of a challenge and to later stuff and mount them as tropies.

Quotes

Battle quotes

Look who's come to play! I am so VERY happy to see you. Now then, are you ready to become my prisoners and live a life of eternal bliss within my lovely dungeon?
— Danomill, as the boss of Chapter 10 in Path of Radiance.
Danomill: Oh, yes... Excellent. What a defiant stare you have. You're exactly the type of prisoner I long for. I will watch as hope fades from your eyes and revel as despair clouds your vision. It will be transcendent.
Ike: ...Don't count on it.

— Danomill, when fighting Ike in Chapter 10 of Path of Radiance.
Danomill: A sub-human? Aha ha ha ha! This is fantastic! I've never had a sub-human prisoner before! Come here, and behave yourself. I'll build a special cell just for you... Perhaps I'll stuff and mount you, too!
Lethe: Grrrrrrraaaaa!

— Danomill, when fighting Lethe in Chapter 10 of Path of Radiance.
Danomill: Oh, dear heavens... Look at the size of this one! Easy now--don't move. I'll not let such a trophy escape.
Mordecai: Your soul is twisted. It saddens me.

— Danomill, when fighting Mordecai in Chapter 10 of Path of Radiance.

Death quotes

You'll not escape... I will see all of you...dead... You will be exe...cu...ted...
— Danomill, as the boss of Chapter 10 in Path of Radiance.
