Authority

Authority (指揮 Shiki lit. Command) is a unit type stat introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Authority dictates a unit's ability to use Battalions, requiring higher Authority to command stronger ones. Units who are trained in this stat also gain useful, and often unique, skills for them to equip often focused on support, such as Rally, or skills that improve combat with Battalions.

Most classes do not require a focus on Authority in order to receive certification. The exception is the Lord class, which is exclusive to Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude.
