White Mousse (ホワイトムース, Howaito Muusu?), also known as Tofu and WhiteMoose, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series. It is a flan-type enemy that debuted in Final Fantasy IV.

White Mousse is fought at Tower of Babil, Red Moon, Cave of Trials, and Lunar Ruins. Like all flan, it has a high Defense and Magic Defense and only uses a basic physical attack. It is weak to Ice-elemental attacks.
Final Fantasy IV -Interlude-[]
White Mousse is fought at Tower of Babil, and is identical to its previous version.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
White Mousse is fought at the Lunar Surface, Lunar Tunnel, Lair of the Father, and Challenge Dungeon during the Lunarians Tale, and in the Challenge Dungeon during Palom's Tale. They are identical to their previous versions.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth[]
Two White Mousses are fought at the end of the sidequest The Hardest Sell, after first fighting through various regular enemies. They resist physical damage and being struck by an elemental attack causes them to gain resistance to that element (until struck by a different element).
White Mousses are also fought in certain tournaments of the Musclehead Colosseum.
Final Fantasy XII[]
White Mousse is a Rank V Mark fought at the Garamsythe Waterway (West Sluice Control) after attaining the Clan Rank of Vanguard. It attacks with the powerful Waterga and Toxify spells for offense, and uses Slowga and Flash for statuses.

Etymology[]
Mousse is a pudding-like dessert made of sugar, eggs, and usually some kind of flavoring, such as chocolate. It can also be made non-traditionally with cream as an ingredient.
Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. It is a component in East Asian and Southeast Asian cuisines.
