The Iron Claw (アイアンクロー, Aiankurō?), also known as the Iron Claws, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy III. It is a stronger variant of the Death Claw.

Final Fantasy III[]
The Iron Claws appears as an enemy encountered in the Ancients' Maze. It is usually fought in pairs and can be summoned by the Greater Demon. It fights using strong physical attacks.
Final Fantasy V[]
The Iron Claw appears as a boss encountered in Karnak Castle. It appears during the final fixed encounter with the Sergeant and their Cur Nakks. The Sergeant transforms into the Iron once all the Cur Nakks are defeated. It is not a very difficult boss, but is the earliest method of obtaining the Death Claw Blue Magic spell. If the Sergeant is defeated before the Cur Nakks, the Iron Claw is permanently missed for bestiary completion.
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-[]
The Iron Claw appears as an enemy encountered during the missions "Investigation of the Caverns," "Science Department," and "No More Wutai." It is a dangerous foe, as it can inflict Stop with its normal attacks, and casts powerful spells such as Flare, Tri-Thundaga, and Tri-Fire.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
The Iron Claws appears as an enemy encountered in The Labyrinth of the Ancients during the Phlegethon encounter. When it appears it will fixate on a random player and use Death Grip to trap them. The party must free the trapped players by defeating the Iron Claws before Phlegethon casts Ancient Flare.
