Oh, shut up and help me remodel the Alexander - The Cuff of the Son page!
Alexander - The Cuff of the Son, known by players as A6 or M2, is the second turn of the Raid Alexander: Midas in Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.
Story[]
Normal[]
Upon returning from Midas, you learn that Mide surrendered the precious fragment of the Enigma Codex to the Illuminati, and that she was in fact a surviving member of a group of Au Ra that failed to summon Alexander three years ago. Although there is certainly more to the apparent treachery than meets the eye, there is no time for doubt. Your offensive against the Illuminati must continue!
In-game Description
Savage[]
Sometimes even the most thrilling tale can benefit from slight embellishment, and the wandering minstrel's reimagining of your foray into Midas—while stretching the bounds of believability—proves to be even more invigorating than your memory of it. A memory you must relive in order to compare...

Progression[]
Serviceway #763[]
There are multiple trash pulls in these hallways. After the party defeats them, they gain access to Machinery Bay 66. This area does not appear on Savage difficulty.
Machinery Bay 66[]
This area does not contain any bosses, but does contain a bridge leading to Machinery Bay 67. On a wipe in Savage difficulty, the party respawns here| a 10:30 enrage timer begins when they pull Machinery Bay 67, similar to the "clicks" from Turn 2. On Normal difficulty, however, progress does not reset.
Machinery Bay 67[]
This circular platform is the boss arena of Blaster. Occasionally clones of Blaster will spawn and fire at random party members in a straight line, and should be dodged.
Machinery Bay 68[]
This room contains Brawler. Brawler will periodically hold one or two cannons up in the air| a single cannon is a tank buster, while double cannons indicate that the party should stack to mitigate damage. The boss also uses a drill attack which hits a random party member for proximity damage.
Machinery Bay 69[]
This platform contains both raised and lowered sections, as well as the boss, Swindler. Swindler will inflict party members with either High Arithmeticks (a purple debuff, which causes Bio-Arithmeticks to deal more damage when not standing on a lowered square) or Low Arithmeticks (a red debuff, which deals more damage when not standing in a raised square). The boss also targets players with an indicator that causes a certain number of glowing balls to spawn above them. Exactly that many players must stack to negate damage, or the victim will be inflicted with Vulnerability stacks or will die.
Machinery Bay 70[]
The final boss of the gauntlet, Vortexer, spawns here. Vortexer uses a Liquid Hell-like attack, as well as causing Compressed Water to spawn. When players are targeted by a circle of ice, they should use it to freeze the water, creating a block of ice that can be used to line-of-sight Vortexer's ultimate attack, Ultra Flash.
The party obtains loot after defeating Vortexer.
