Alphascape V1.0, known by players as O9, is the first fight of the Raid Raid Omega: Alphascape in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood.

Story[]

Normal[]

While you recuperated from the latest round of testing, Omega's trials proceeded apace. Of the eighty-nine combatants in Psi group, four emerged victorious. Of those four, one proved itself the mightiest entity of the last remaining test world: a champion designated as "Psi IV." This immensely powerful being will be your opponent as you strive to complete the final stage of Omega's grueling experiments.

Description

Savage[]

The switch taunts you. You cannot resist. A satisfying "click" and your moment of weakness has activated a new phase of the Savage Initiative. This time, however, something is different. The broadcast is interrupted by an unexpected transmission—a message from beyond oblivion. A familiar voice guides you in an unfamiliar tone, and arms you with knowledge of impossible simulations. Your evolution is at hand.

Etymology[]

Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. It was derived from the Phoenician letter "aleph", and it is the source of the Latin and Cyrillic letter "A". In English, alpha is a noun that means "beginning" or "first (in a series)".
