Pet is a Creation adapted by GuyThatExists that appears in the short story Blank Slates 3 as a minor character. It is a member of Cecil's Militia briefly leaving when the Tree King joins. However, after a discussion with Pot, it fights the Tree King and then joins the final battle against Tombstone. However, it is teleported into canon by Temte Mapleleaf when the battle gets too intense.
Appearance[edit]
Pet is a small white dog with brown spots. Its legs and tail are thin, and it has a brown ball of fur on the tip of its tail.
Story[edit]
Pet is first seen when Cecil introduces his militia to Repair Guy, Fox, and Pot. It is introduced by Cecil, who claims that Pet is the fastest being in The Void, annoying Repair Guy, Fox, and Pot and prompting them to explain that the war against Tombstone wouldn't be as easy to fight as they think. Some time later, after Tombstone absorbs the Shadow Village and Racoomie leaves the group, Pet is excited to fight against Tombstone. The remains of the militia then decide to travel to the Baki Temple with Crawler's LARPing Group.
When they arrive at the Temple, Pet is tasked with digging underneath the Shadow wall blocking the entrance and brings out one of the Tree King's old skulls. Rusty then leads the rest of the militia into the Tree King's Den. When they arrive, they notice the Tree King's statues lining the room, and when the Tree King returned, Rusty, Pet, and Cecil immediatley began attacking. However, the Tree King quickly overpowers them and demands to know why they broke into the Temple. Rusty tells everyone to not answer him, remembering what the Tree King did during Blank Slates 2. The Tree King, thinking Rusty was the militia's leader, attacks him, causing Rusty to run away riding Pet out of the Temple.
Once everyone leaves the Temple, Pet, Rusty, and Pot begin walking towards the Guardians' HQ. Pot asks Rusty why he left the militia, and Rusty blames the Tree King joining the militia, which Pet gets angry at. Rusty then tells him that what Pot told him in the Plains got to him, and he was locking up all his emotions. Pot, apologizing, tells Rusty that instead of locking up his emotions, he needed to embrace them and fight anyway. Just then, the Tree King ignites and starts attacking the HQ, so Rusty and Pet jump into battle to stop him.
After the Tree King's death and Tombstone emerging from its bubble over the Two Realms Plains, Pet and Rusty join the fight against it, helping move the fighters around the battlefield to avoid debris. When Tombstone attempts to absorb Cecil and Shadokomo, Pet and Rusty pull them out of Tombstone. However, Temte Mapleleaf is forced to evacuate all of the fighters, including Pet, into canon, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
