Trivia
Previous: "Big Resolution" |
"Winter Greens" | Next: "Mages & Mazes" |
General[]
- Morals:
- Love conquers all, no matter what.
- What's important about your lifetime is spending time with each other.
- This is the third episode of Big City Greens to take place during the winter; the first is "Green Christmas", and the second was this episode's sister episode, "Big Resolution".
- In this episode, Cricket wears different winter headwear instead of his red earmuffs; in this case, he wears a purple pompom hat with ear flaps.
- This was possibly done deliberately so Vasquez can blast part of his hat away.
- The snowflake showing the title card is similar to the snowflake transition in "Green Christmas".
- This is the first appearance of Bill's winter attire in-series (It was seen in the Chibi Tiny Tales short "Say it Ain't Snow").
- Vasquez is seen without his glasses for the first time.
- When Tilly is placing Margaret inside the freezer, there are two noteworthy things on-screen:
- On the freezer door, there is a chores list; Bill's is filled, Tilly only has one missing checkmark, Cricket has only one checkmark, and there are none in Gramma's.
- There are only four columns, which may mean this list covers the first four days in a week.
- Two memos presumably written by Bill:
- On Memo 1:
- "-day" (the rest is obscured by Memo 2)
- On Memo 2:
- "Cake miss Tilly" (?)
- "Buy new wood"
- "Plant corn"
- On Memo 1:
- On the freezer door, there is a chores list; Bill's is filled, Tilly only has one missing checkmark, Cricket has only one checkmark, and there are none in Gramma's.
- This is the first time Tilly wears generic indoor winter wear.
- It's revealed Vasquez has a heat-sensing filter built into his glasses.
- This is the first time Vasquez has his hair loose.
- The Big City Zoo is seen again since "Uncaged" and "Harvest Dinner".
- The drone Remy uses to dump a bucketload of snow on Vasquez is the same one used by the Cyber Knights in "Cyberbullies".
- It's revealed Remy reads at a high school level.
- This is one of the very rare episodes where schooling is mentioned.
- This is the second time Tilly spends the whole episode with Nancy after "Tilly Style".
- This and its sister are currently the final episodes to premiere in January to date.
Continuity[]
- The biker bar Ruff Customers from "Phoenix Rises" appears again.
- While tending to the crops, Bill is using the Rite of Passage quilt seen in "Cricket Versus".
- The Tilly and Nancy subplot deals with a bucket list-type of situation. Bucket lists were seen in "Cricketsitter" (albeit in a literal way) and "Time Crisis".
