Trivia
Previous: "Uncaged" |
"Harvest Dinner" | Next: "Winner Winner" |
General[]
- Moral: Every job, no matter how mundane it seems, is important.
- The episode takes place after "Uncaged" as Gramma was still distrustful of Nancy.
- This is the second episode to feature Wholesome Foods without Chip Whistler after "Steak Night".
- The Wholesome Foods Tilly goes to to buy the paprika is the one seen at the beginning of "Steak Night".
- Alice still does not like Nancy despite having some trust in her now.
- In turn, Nancy seems to be slightly afraid of Alice.
- Daisy the Bear from "Bear Trapped" makes a brief cameo appearance.
- This is the first episode to solely star the whole Green family without any extra characters.
- For some reason, the family interchangeably refers to the bird at the end as a rooster and a chicken. This bird in particular is a rooster.
- This is the first time Nancy Green appears in the first episode segment.
- Ironies:
- A lot of trouble could've been avoided if Bill told Cricket and Gramma why they were supposed to watch the pie in the first place.
- In spite of Cricket and Gramma wanting to beat Tilly, Tilly ends up beating them.
- While Nancy is cutting a tomato in the kitchen, a hidden Easter egg can be seen in the fruit bowl behind her.
- The scene where Cricket and Gramma end up in a restroom via manhole sewer is used for a wallpaper released to Twitter on October 14, 2020.
- Foreshadowing: When Cricket is annoyed at watching the pie, he asks, "What's it gonna do, run away?" Sure enough, the pie gets stolen by Cogburn when they leave the pie unattended.
- The store where Cricket and Gramma realize Tilly was buying paprika and not a papaya is called "l'Nouveau", which is French for "The new one".
- This episode and "Winner Winner":
- Premiered on Disney XD on the same exact day "Valentine's Dance"/"Green Streets" premiered on Disney Channel.
- Are ironically the least viewed episodes of the season, considering that "Uncaged", which premiered just before, is the most viewed of the season.
- This is the third time Tilly says "Mom" instead of "Mama" after "Cricket Versus" and "Phoenix Rises".
- This is also the second time Cricket says "Papa" instead of "Dad" after "Welcome Home".
Character Relations and Continuity[]
- This episode showed a slight indication on how Bill and Nancy almost rarely got along due to their differences.
- Daisy reappears in this episode as a cameo while Gramma and Cricket were finding their way around the sewer in order to beat Tilly to the store.
- The male biker, who appears in "Phoenix Rises" (the first episode to feature Nancy Green, who has a major role in this episode), also appears in this episode.
- It is the second episode where Bill trusts Tilly to be responsible, after "Cricketsitter".
- In addition, Tilly manages to handle Cricket's mischievousness herself instead of going to Bill (this is unlike "Cricketsitter", where she can't handle Cricket's injury).
- The first location Cricket and Gramma end up in from the sewers is the Times Square area from "Welcome Home".
- This location would be revealed to be Times Circle in the episode with the same name.
- The second location Cricket and Gramma end up in is the lion pen of the Big City Zoo, which appeared in "Uncaged".
- Cogburn would get a bigger role in "Animal Farm".
