General[]
- Moral: You and your friend are closer than you think.
- The sign on Andromeda's alarm clock reads "Time isn't real, but if it was, this is what it would be", implying Andromeda doesn't believe in the existence of time.
- It's revealed in this episode Tilly's loud snoring creates a white noise to help Cricket sleep properly.
- Despite Cricket saying he would not go to sleep without Tilly's loud snoring, in "Homeshare Hoedown", he would not go to sleep due to Tilly's snoring disrupting him.
- Ironically, Tilly moved to her own room in "Country Side", so Cricket likely relied on Remy's snoring to help him sleep.
- Normally, Cricket wears a green nightshirt at bedtime; in this episode, he wears a green shirt and light blue pants, resembling Bill's regular wardrobe.
- This was likely due to him walking out into the open to Andromeda's apartment building and to make him appear more suitable.
- It's also revealed Bill sleeps without his shirt on due to constant sweating while sleeping; normally he doesn't usually sweat nor sleeps with his shirt off.
- In Andromeda's room, a picture of herself with her parents can be seen near the window, but the top half is cut off and her parents' faces are not shown.
- Some of the paranormal objects Andromeda gets out are:
- A shrunken head
- A batch of garlic
- A banana peel
- A pair of scissors
- A wooden stake
- A ninja star
- A butterfly net
- A voodoo doll
- A glove
- A hammer
- A book on paranormal investigation
- Although Tilly and Andromeda tried to form a psychic link with each other, other characters, including Tilly herself, are shown to have psychic links as well. For instance, Cricket has a psychic link with Phoenix as revealed in "Phoenix Rises", and Tilly had a psychic link with Melissa in "Tilly's Goat" to find out what's wrong with her. Tilly also used a psychic link to find the three birds in "Mama Bird".
- Cricket spins around for three hours and is somehow able to survive without dizziness.
- Irony: Cricket tells Andromeda "Good luck sleeping through Tilly's crazy loud snoring!" yet moments later it turns out he cannot sleep without Tilly's snore.
- Andromeda's house is seen for the first time, though we only get to see her bedroom and part of the living room.
- Activities Tilly and Andromeda do to stay awake:
- Tell each other's darkest secrets
- Have a pillow fight
- Eat loads of candy and have a sugar rush, later resulting in them arguing tiredly
- Watch Slumber Slayer
- Fight Cricket
- Cricket's attempts to fall asleep:
- Sleep with Bill and Gramma, who are sweating and sleepwalking respectively
- Drink milk
- Count sheep
- Call Tilly on the phone (Andromeda hangs it up)
- This is the third appearance of Tilly's camera, the first two being "Parade Day" and "Gargoyle Gals".
Continuity[]
- This episodes is a follow up from Gargoyle Gals where Tilly and Andromeda are actually closer friends than before.
- During the imagination sequence of Tilly and Andromeda using psychic powers in a restaurant, Tilly wears the same tuxedo from "Hiya Henry".
- The waitress in Tilly and Andromeda's fantasy is the same one appearing in "Fill Bill".
Production[]
- This episode, along with "Hurty Tooth", are the first to be produced in 2019 according to the end credits.
